Rating: Summary: dumb book Review: this is ridiculous. it is very sad to see that Christianity degenerated from truly great world religion to a tool of self-satisfaction for fat, ignorant and egoistic segment of American population. just a bunch of suburban housewives who doesnt care about God or religion but are more concerned about their own survival and well-being. Is this the same religion Augustine was converted to? Is this the great religion of self-introspection and severe honesty?I propose a few titles for sequels of this book: "Will I take my comfortable house with me in Heaven?", "Whether I can watch TV in Heaven?". Sleep well in your little homes - you will see your pet in heaven. (...). P.S. I wonder about the author - how did she analyzed the Bible and succeded to discover something that generations of professional Biblical scholars failed to discover. Does she even know Greek or Hebrew? Well, Bible is a large book and it is possible to discover in it anything you like, especially if you ignore the central message. Who cares about all that medievil mumbo-jumbo when we need to discover whether animals will survive and whether there is a McDonald's in Heaven.
Rating: Summary: IT GIVES ME HOPE Review: WHAT A GREAT BOOK!! THE AUTHOR REALLY SPENT A LOT OF TIME DOING HER RESEARCH. I HAVE READ OTHER BOOKS OF THIS TYPE, THIS ONE IS THE BEST BY FAR.
Rating: Summary: knowing that God has not forgotten our pets. Review: When Samson passed away I was grief stricten and angry with God.I had talked with Priests and the like and the answer was the same pets dont have souls and therefore no enterence to heaven. This was truly a God send and written with the love and compassion that we share with through Gods love and gifts to and through them. I so loved this book that I gave one to our library, A Priest whom I found to also believe pets also join us in heaven and one for my family. Losing a pet is losing a family member and they are with God waiting for us gives great comfort. I felt better having Biblical proof that what I longed for was truly there in the Bible.
