Rating: Summary: LOVE LOVE LOVE Review: After reading this book, there is som much to do with me that I don't have time to be looking for love from someone else.
Rating: Summary: Great for your soul! Review: All of Michelle's books have been very empowering for me. This book has given me inspiration that we as woman are a true treasure, and the right man will be guided to us. We should not look for them! So sit back ladies, and let your spiritual beliefs keep you strong! Read this book for inspiration, empowerment and a reminder that life is precious and we don't NEED a man, but want that special man in our lives when the time is right. Keep busy, do things you love to do, "get a life" and we will glow!

Rating: Summary: Must Have Been From God Review: Although I'm only 1/2 way through this book I had to stop and write a review. It seems as if Michelle was writing about the last 4 years of my dating life. Thank God for her. This book is so encouraging that I've had to stop many times and ask my self what do I want in a Godly mate and what do I want him to see in me. And I loved the part about communicating with Jesus the same way we would communicate with your husband. It sounded weird at first but I figured why not tried it. Hey, if you can't be open and communicate with Jesus about all the issues in your life good or bad how can you expect to have good and fruitful communication with your husband. Read the book and you'll see what I'm talking about. Michelle will help you as she did with me to check my self mind, body,& soul.
Rating: Summary: Great for Virtuous women waiting on God and serving Him. Review: An amazingly true book to comfort those seeking God for a mate. Those wanting to know God and His purpose for thier lives should read and enjoy this book and the true purpose of God can be revealed in womens' lives.
Rating: Summary: The reason I wrote this book. Review: As I struggled with the issue of how to be happy and single in the same breath, it was hard to find material that dealt with where I really lived and the issues I faced daily. I longed for something that offered practical as well as spiritual advice with a sense of humor, (God knows a good dose of laughter makes anything more bearable!). I hope this is what I have provided.By the way I'm happy now, still single, but truly happy.
Rating: Summary: One of my favorites Review: At the top of my list of personal favorites. Hard to put down. Aspects I appreciate most are:She tells it like it is. She makes no pretense about the secret longings and thoughts we have regarding love. She does an excellent job of focusing on identity building scriptures, etc. Better said, she builds self-esteem as to who we are as children of God. Although appropriate for any age, I use lots of selections in teaching teenage Sunday School.
Rating: Summary: A book a week reader Review: I cherished every word of this book. Ms. Hammond perfectly knows the heart of single women. She doesn't tell you how to find a man but tells you how to love the Greatest Man there is...God. I gained so much peace with my singleness. She teaches to hold on to God and wait for a gentleman to walk up to you who is strong enough to hold your hand and God's hand at the same time! I have given this book to several of my single friends. It is the best investment I ever made!
Rating: Summary: Too much poetry, not enough useful advice Review: I did not identify with this book as I did with "I Kissed Dating Goodbye." Michelle uses a poem in every chapter, and not being a big poetry fan, I skipped right over them. (The ones I read were kind of cheesy). A lot of things she addresses I really don't have to worry about - She explains how women get whisked away by every man they date (and she inserts a poem to explain, of course) but I really haven't experienced that at all. The book seems to me to be a forum for Michelle to publish her poetry; and not a serious guide to real life Christian dating.
Rating: Summary: What To Do Until Love Finds You Review: I don't have anyone in my life now, but I know that it was God whom told me to pick up this book "What to do Until Love finds You". Before reading the book, God had already spoke to me on some issues that I have to face in my life before I can become someone's wife. I prayed to God before reading the book that he would open up my eyes more to what he was doing in my life and I would get understanding and clarity on the preparation process for marriage. You have truly blessed me beyond these words. I felt like you were right there with me as I read the book, talking with me and minstering to me. The book met me right where I am in this preparation process. God had made this real to me. I cried sometimes and I laughed a lot. Although I had some goals in my mind reading the book help me make those goals even more realistic that I wrote them down, I got specific with God about the husband he will send in my life and God was specific with me about my level of submission and comittment to Him. Reading this book help me to take to heart all that God was saying to me about Him preparing me for my husband before I bought the book. This book truly minsistered to me(the whole person). I really want to meet the author and give her a hug and say thank you, for being obedient to the Lord. Its been a long process of trusting God to send the one, howeer, because of reading this life changing book, the wait is not so bad. Long ago I decided to keep the Lord as my focus and everything else will follow I'm sticking to that. I am so sorry for the women out there who while they proclaim to love God, cannot and will not submit to His standards because they refuse to understand why they were created...I think if you want a wordly view, you should not look for it in a book by a Christian writer. I feel that Christian writers simply take lessons, and words from the Bible and break them down to us in a manner that we can relate to, I know this book did.
