Through the simple tools presented in this book the relationship between the ego, or finite mind and the infinite mind, God, is explained. All of magic, all of prayer, all of everything that anyone ever thought could bring something to be is explained in simple terms within this book. A classic that should grace any library.

Review: Another incredible classic by Neville, a dearly beloved author, lecturer, and mystic. "The ideal you hope to achieve is always ready for an incarnation, but unless you yourself offer it human parentage, it is incapable of birth" (10). "An assumption builds a bridge of incidents that lead inevitably to the fulfillment of itself" (38). Neville tells us in the beginning: This book is to reveal your infinite power, against which no earthly force is of the slightest significance. It is to show who you are, your purpose and your destiny.

Summary: THE LIGHT OF SELF-LIBERATION
Review: Awareness is vast, not tied down to some specific observer or thing observed. This may sound like a very idealistic position, some fantasy about retreating into mind, away from the world's problems. People often think that birth, struggle, desire, and death are the ordinary events in life, the 'normal' ones. So these high-sounding ideas about awareness seem very fantastic and escapist. But maybe they are really not so fantastic---perhaps they are more 'normal' and practical than our usual preoccupations.This book can lead us back to those levels of awareness which are very useful and which are like treasure-houses. We usually attach all our knowledge and memories to the transitory bits and pieces of our ego...if we want to remember something, we have to find the part of the ego that it's tacked onto. Sometimes the supports for memory have disintegrated or become lost. But beyond these impermanent structures there is a vast realm of awareness that preserves everything perfectly, like a great regfrigerator. We can put all the knowledge we want there and retrieve it whenever we like. There is also much other useful information kept there. In the past, people became very learned by making use of these deep, clear levels of mind. They did not try to escape anywhere, but just took proper advantage of their complete heritage as human beings. Western psychologists still have very little knowledge of what lies beyond the ordinary mind. This book bridges some gaps.

I read this book almost four times in the last month and I would like to share and tell everyone I know about it. I have learned to wear kid gloves with people, and yet it all makes so much sense. There are people born knowing what they are going to do. I have not been one of them, but if you just watch someone who has a particular dream, you will see it happen, and we sit and wonder why we think we are victims, it is because we sit and think we are victims. Amazing book, everyone should read. Thats it, required school reading. I love it. Thank you Neville.

Summary: 101 of Spiritual Life and Success...
Review: I truly believe that if I should require everyone to read but one book, this would be it. The author has said that he intented this book to be the simplest and easiest to apply that he has the power to make... and he has truly succeeded in writing such a great book. The question on many people's lips is this: "I have read so many books, why should I read another?" Although you may be all done and read dynamo, this book is for you. It may not be as advanced as many other books Neville has written, but it certainly is the best guidebook to inspire, encourage and lift you up to the full potential by increasing your awareness of the power that can fulfill all of your dreams. The special chapter on failure and what you can do in order to avoid failing is also something every serious truth student will find helpful. Naturally, the only minus for this book comes from the fact that it mentions no word about the promise, but we can forgive that as the book was originally written in 1950s before Neville's more advanced years of teaching. The author also provides a number of helpful exercises that you can use and in so doing, prove that this Truth is truly so. Don't just take my words for it, order the book and try it. I am sure that you won't be disappointed. You owe this much to yourself.

Review: Neville has the gift of awakening the reader's mind, thought, imagination and awareness. The awarness he speakes of is that of our intermost essence and with this awakening comes the power of powers - mastery of our mind and thought and the ability to consciously and creatively manifest our deepest dreams and desires. Well worth reading and re-reading and re-reading (along with any and all of his other books). A true master has created another masterpiece.
