Summary: This is not a Book, But a Manual for Life
Review: I was very impressed with the Book, it is a step by step Manual on how to set up your Road Map for life. The best Part of the Book is the Action Steps at the end of each Chapter. IF you purchase this book just to Read it, you will have made a good purchase, but if you Follow the Action Steps, and Make out your Charts you will feel how great this Book is.

The Book is Filled with many stories and examples of use from the Authors, and Other individuals who have accomplished major success with these Principles.

Make sure you actually Digest this Book, Don't try to Read it in a Day, but treat it like a 6 week College Course.

This is a Great Book For anyone on a Personal Development Curve, Novice or Expert.

Summary: Mental Focus and Absolute Certainty: Vital Success Factors!
Review: This is a small departure from the Chicken Soup series although the packaging is similar. It appears to the knowledgable self-help reader that this book is probably 98% Les Hewitt and 1% Canfield and Hansen. While the book is packed with stories, cartoons, diagrams, questionaires, and order forms, I did not find this book to be a very enjoyable, easy or compelling read. I think it is a valuable addition to a personal development library, but the average person will get bogged-down in it....at least that's my humble opinion.

Summary: The Power of Focus
Review: I found this book to be the most powerful book I have read this year!

I just finished reading this book for the third time! I found this book to contain the real-world, practical steps I needed to bring my life into balance. By reading each chapter and doing the action steps at the end I now have a solid, detailed and achievable plan for the three key areas of my life, work, financial and relationships.

I recommend it to anyone who has tried the one-day seminars and have been unable to make the dramatic improvements you desire.

Summary: Useful and fun
Review: Many talented people don't achieve all that they could because they lack one fundamental skill--the ability to focus their energies and talents.

This book goes a long way toward teaching the skills necessary to focus your energies on those things that really matter to you in your life, those things that will take you where you really want to go.

It is written in a very readable fashion and contains exercises you can do and strategies you can employ.

Summary: THIS I can do!
Review: I borrowed this book from a library then-- I bought it! I am not into the deep, affirmation type of books and this is NOT one of those at all. It is a step by natural step guide to gaining control of YOUR actions and inactions. It gave me a view- then a plan of what I needed to change in everyday actions. It is great for everyone who feels things never get finished, forget to do important things, feel guilty for inactivity, make a To Do list and never get past the first item. If your life runs in the reactive instead of proactive mode-- you need this book.

Summary: A book doesn't deliver people do
Review: So many bozos think that a book is supposed to deliver and dramatically change your life. All a book can be is a guide. The rest is up to the reader. Get this book, read it, then go out and use its principles, and most of all, stop being a bozo.

Summary: Awesome
Review: One of the quotes in this book is "When the pupil is ready, the teacher appears". Well, if you are ready to soar to the top with a strong and stable foundation then BUY the book. Yes, that cut and dry. "The Power of Focus" will take you to the next level. What you desire you will achieve it after reading this book. It is a must for your Library. When you sow the right seeds you reap the right harvest, so purchase one for a friend. You will never again let anything hold you back after reading this book. It's a 5 star plus....

Summary: Hocus Pocus - Lost My Focus!
Review: This book promises a lot but delivers little. I expected so much more from the authors than endless stories that left me sleepy. While some of the ideas are sound, save yourself the money. The Power of Focus has lost its focus!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Where are my goal worksheets?
Review: Great inspirational book to help you set goals and begin to take control in all areas of your life (even with fun and relaxation). But, the book itself is a bit wordy...and too long. How about a shortend version on setting goals with a FEW inspirational messages, leaving the last 100 pages empty worksheet plans for us to fill in? The best help books for me are those that I can read and then put to practical use.

Summary: Good Thoughts/Bad Writing
Review: This is a book that contains a treasure of good thoughts and principles and recommendations and yet is so poorly and woodenly written that one feels as if one has just experienced a speech by Al Gore. It's too bad the writing effort didn't match the thinking effort, because the thinking is quite sound.
