Rating: Summary: Wonderful!!!!! Review: One of the best books I have ever read. I'm a 34 year old female who just finished treatment for lymphoma. Ms. Hyde captured my feelings and thoughts perfectly. I highly recommend this to anyone going through a battle with cancer or to any caregivers also. I wish I had found this book when I was actually having my chemo and radiation. Some of her pointers would have helped me a lot (ie. always carry a blanket with you to chemo and to hospitals).
Rating: Summary: Read this book even if you are very well! Review: Susan Hyde is my friend. Her book is about living. Sometimes, cancer becomes a part of living, and the only thing we have to do until we die is live. Susan knows how to live. Her cancer is not the example that she sets. Her life is the example. She is living a good life.
Rating: Summary: No More Bad Hair Days Review: Thank you Susan for sharing your wit and wisdom. I have been searching for someone who, like me can see the humor under even these most trying circumstances. Few people in my life seem to be able to laugh with me. I hope your book will change that! The last thing I need or want is a lot of gloomy faces bringing me down.Susan gave me many chances to LOL. Thanks, and best wishes.
