Summary: UPLIFTING
Review: After I read this book, I felt a new promise in helping my mother fight her battle with ovarian cancer. The book gave me insight into what my mother deals with and the little things that I can do to make her life easier. Thank you to the author for her encouraging words.

Summary: I' m still here! I'm still laughing, and I now have hair!
Review: After living with cancer for three plus years, I have learned so many things. Perhaps the greatest lesson is this: A burden can become a gift if only we take the time to see it as such. My love and thanks to all of you who have read NO MORE BAD HAIR DAYS. Your sweet letters and positive comments have touched my heart.

Review: I thought that this book was great. I received it as a gift during my illness. As a 19 year old, battling ovarian cancer, I could relate to every part. It always made me laugh and put a smile on my face. I am now in remission and still sit down often and read the book. I always read it completely in one sitting because it is so good that I can never put it down or walk away. It puts things into perspective and helps to lighten the situation. I recommend it to everyone and am going to buy it for my friend who also has ovarian cancer. To Susan- thanks for the laughs and inspiration.

Summary: Read this book even if you are very well!
Review: I'm sitting here, scratching my half-bald, half peach-fuzz head, wondering how to thank this author for pulling me through just about the worst day yet of my cancer saga. A new friend sent it to me, I opened it, started reading and didn't stop (except for when the doorbell rang and I unashamedly answered it with tears running down my face) until I finished it. I laughed, I cried, I crowed. Thank you, Susan Hyde. (Oh yes, and last night I actually did discover a natural cure for insomnia - the Linda-Monica tapes. I'm sure they'll be available in audio-book format for the general public by tomorrow...)

Review: One of the best books I have ever read. I'm a 34 year old female who just finished treatment for lymphoma. Ms. Hyde captured my feelings and thoughts perfectly. I highly recommend this to anyone going through a battle with cancer or to any caregivers also. I wish I had found this book when I was actually having my chemo and radiation. Some of her pointers would have helped me a lot (ie. always carry a blanket with you to chemo and to hospitals).
