Review: I am a 21 yr old student, and have just begun that self analysing, spiritual quest. Iyanlas book is nothing short of Divine. It has addressed so many issues with which I had struggled. She has managed to pack every section of this book with wisdoms, which could otherwise take a lifetime to acquire - a valuable gift for a woman of my age.
I can't find words enough to thank Iyanla for the sense of peace she has helped to create in my life...a peace I have never before experienced.
Yes, this is one of those books, that if you had money, you'd buy one copy for every person you know, and perhaps even those you don't !

Review: This is one of the most enlightening books I've read in years. Iyanla is very open and easy to read. She gives the reader a new view on so many topics. I personally have given several to friends and highly recomend it to anyone seeking a peaceful spirit.

Review: I just completed the 40th day of the program and I have really benefitted from the experience. If you take the time to read the book and do the exercises it will change your life. I plan on referring to it again and again. I also plan to buy another copy to lend to friends. Definitely a worthwhile purchase. I also recommend "In The Meantime".

Review: I have bought a lot of spiritual and self help books through the years but I would throw them all away for this one. I plan on reading this book over and over throughout the years. She speaks to you like a good friend about issues you deal with everyday. It's almost as if she is reading my mind sometimes. When I need a good boost to get me going or when I'm dealing with something unpleasant, I just pick up the book and I am healed. You will not be disappointed if you buy this book.

Review: For me, it was time to advance to another level of spiritual awareness. Iyanla's daily exercises and words of wisdom opened numerous and profound doors until my soul just opened up! Do the meditations faithfully, openly and honestly, and expect life altering revelations. Yes, there's much content to absorb but somehow it all sticks. Summary: Very powerful reading
Review: Normaly not one to read books about spiritual enlightment, I was somehow curious about Ms Vanzant after seeing her once on the Oprah show. She came across as a dignified woman who had a very powerful message to deliver to all of us.Althoug I did not bother to fill out the diary portion of her book, I found it nevertheless very helpful in clearing out my own "weeds". Ms Vanzant has a writing style totally devoid of "bull". Her encouragement is God-sent.

Review: Last weekend I went to my favorite bookstore seeking a specific read I was clamoring to buy. Unfortunately, the book was not available and as I wandered the bookstore in search of something to read, I came across this wonderfully fascinating book. Iyanla Vanzandt has the uncanny ability to strike at the soul and depths of an individual. Her descriptive prose has made me re-read phrases and passages in order to try to commit them to memory. I've always believed myself to be a person of deep spirituality and understanding. I have felt that my knowledge was complete UNTIL Iyanla enlightened me. Her words have reinforced my beliefs and encouraged my to continue to "walk in the spirit". I will always walk with her words by my side.
