Review: Things do happen for a reason and my guardian angel knew exactly what I needed. This book has opened my eyes to things I haven't felt in a long time. I feel better about my life. I'm a newlywed with a new job and soon a new house and for some reason I was not happy. Iyanla enabled me to reach my spiritual self which I kept hidden. Don't rush through this book, take it at your own pace and do the exercises in each section. It really works if you do them. It's okay to bring down those walls of protection that you put up around yourself and let what Iyanla teaches reach your soul and let the sun shine on you. I am a very stubborn, protective, sensitive yet tough exterior young woman and Iyanla reached me after everyone and everything else failed. Let her do the same for you. Keep writting Iyanla! You are loved! I've spread the word and now my mother, mother-in-law, sister, and best friend all want this book.

I enjoyed the daily exercises and I found many solutions to situations while reading this book. The opening poem by her daughter Gemma was awesome. Buy this book today. Review: This book caught my eye because of it's colorful cover. I never would have guessed then how much it would impact my life. Before I even reached the end, this book inspired me to go back to university and to open myself to a new relationship. It's not filled with complicated theories and advice. It's also not insultingly simple (as some self-help books are). I.V has found a perfect balance that speaks to everyone. Buy this book!

Review: I'm only 1/2 way through this book, and my life has already been dramatically changed. Many spiritual advisors have told me that I need to regain my power, but never really told me how to do it. This book does that, in easy to understand terms from someone who has obviously lived through the experience. It is so hard for us to believe that by only investing 30 minutes a day for 40 days, your life can change so completely, but believe me, it can happen!

Review: This book lays it on the line when it comes to digging way deep down in your soul for the truth. Only those of you who what to be true in spirit, mind, body, and soul in your beliefs with the divine, can comprehend, and see the real essence that Iyanla is trying to relate to you. THIS BOOK IS NO JOKE. I loan the book to my pastor's wife during our wednesday night praise service and she hasn't returned it yet. There was no way that I could read the book without feeling a gusty deep spiritual uplifting within. I followed all instructions in the book and read it before I would get out of the bed in the morning and then again before retiring at nite. I would sometimes read a chapter in the book and then find some type of bible verses that related to what I had just read. If, before you read this book you didn't have faith in the divine, or even knew how powerful you are with the blessings of God spiritually, then I'm sure after you read this book, your spirits and your faith in the divine will be greater than ever before. I truly would recommend this book for all readers. I intend to pass this book on as gifts, to those that I know who would love to be up lifted spiritually, in any shape form or fashion.
