Summary: A Wonderful Book for those who want to understand MPD
Review: I am only 3/4 of the way through the book and mesmerized. Although hard to read at times, this book offers a view of a world that few people ever enter.

Summary: It was a heart-wrenching tale of abuse beyond comprehension.
Review: When I read this book, I felt myself crying for this child. The horror that she must have gone through day-by-day was just amazing. I have nothing but respect for Truddi Chase. She is a survivor. I was very intrugied by how many personalities she carried, and how she survived daily life going from one to the other. I just thought that the book was very real, extremely painful to read, but very fascinating all at once.

Review: Truddi and her "Troops" have written an absolutely touching and moving story about the possible results of child abuse. Although there is a great deal of skeptiscism in the psychological world about the existence of Dissociative Identity Disorder, the book is still a very important piece of twentieth-century literature.

Review: I have never read a more candid and horrifing book in my life, and I only hope I will never have to. The abuse that Truddi and the Troops underwent is unreal. It's amazing what the human mind will do to survive. This book made me feel an aray of emotion from anger to disgused to pity and amazment at how complex the human brain is. Truddi and the Troops deserve nothing less then to be at peace with what they underwent and to lead a some what normal life, because it would have been so much easier for them to just give.
