Rating: Summary: what jackie taught us is a waste of money Review: This book is not only interesting but it teaches the reader things about Jackie Kennedy Onassis that makes her real and human. I loved this book. It has lessons in it that are easily applied to everyday life. This book is a must read! I carry it with me wherever I go. I feel like it is an instruction manual for how we should all strive to live our lives. Jackie was not just a character in a fairytale, she was a real person with faults that she overcame with grace and skill. Mrs. Flaherty truly captures the essence of the woman who was...Jackie Kennedy Onassis. I cannot wait for Mrs. Flaherty's next publication. But until then I will keep reading and re-reading this fantastic book!

Rating: Summary: A siimple look into the fascinating life of Jackie O Review: This book was boring at times, and I found the writing to be quite simplistic. I actually checked the back jacket to see if this woman was actually an author. I hardly think living in the same building as Jackie Kennedy makes one qualified to write a book about her. However, there were some interesting parts, and while I don't think the book was the best thing ever written, it was written respectfully and did bring attention to important lessons like havig manners, having a love for learning, and sticking to your ambitions. I'd reccomend this book, as long as you don't go into it with very high expectations.
Rating: Summary: What Jackie Taught Us Review: This is a wonderful book. Precise and interesting and to the point. The world saw Jackie as a beautiful and graceful lady. Tina Flaherty tells us what a strong, intelligent woman she was as well. It was really good to read something NICE about the Kennedy Family. Thank you MS Flaherty
Rating: Summary: Jackie, a shining example! Review: This is a wonderful profile of and exemplary woman! Since one of the best ways to teach is by setting a good example, Jackie taught us how to be the best we can be. Her keen intellect, value of education and learning, exquisite manners, love of the arts and music, always putting family first and knowing herself, gave us true examples of how to apply these principals to our own lives. This is a very well-written book. It is a quick and interesting read. My compliments to the author! Thank you for a delightful book.

Rating: Summary: A tribute to Jackie! Review: Tina Flaherty has not only written a most engrossing book, but she has captured the essence of Jackie as no other author has been able to do. This is a "wow"! I have been an admirer of Jackie's for years and often times would be on the same elevator with her at 666 Fifth Avenue when she was working for Doubleday. I never intruded on her privacy, however, we would both acknowledge each other and nod our heads as a form of salutation. Tina Flaherty has done a major favor to the public in writing a book that preserves her dignity, displays her beauty and intellect, and congratulates her for being that special woman who wanted at all times to contribute so much to society. A job well done!
Rating: Summary: What Jackie Taught Us Review: Tina Flaherty was not a friend of Jackie Onassis but she thought about her deeply. She studied her extraordinary character. She recognized its eight elements. To intorduce Jackie to her readers she explored these elements in a book. The result is a probing penetrating, accurate likeness of Jackie and how her readers can be more like her. The chapter on "Men and Marriage" is worth the whole price of the book.
Rating: Summary: Jackie. An Example to Follow Review: Tina Santi Flaherty brings us another wonderful book about the remarkable woman of character we all remember as Jackie. Through this heart-felt book, we are reminded of the qualities that I personally have always admired and watched when Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis was alive. She was a lady, and maintained her dignity. She kept her private life private, and was an example of fine character. She loved her husband unconditionally, and raised two beautiful children as a devoted mother. Jacqueline was the epitome of grace and elegance. She wrote thoughtful notes to people whenever they did something kind for her. She overcame deep pain and adversity by bringing out her true inner strength, rather than crumble. She was charitable, philanthropic and humane. She cared about preserving art and culture. She worked as an editor, and maintained her humility. No matter what tragic or painful circumstance was before her, she faced it, and overcame much. Thank you Tina for keeping the beautiful memory of an exceptional woman alive. This Book is A Great Read! Barbara Rose, author of, 'Individual Power' and 'If God Was Like Man'
Rating: Summary: What Jackie Taught Us Review: What an amazing read...I couldn't put it down. I completely agree with Ms. Tina Flaherty that Jackie Onassis was never given credit for her leadership abilities or what she gave to American women. It's an exceptional book and every woman should read it.
