Summary: This book was a good book that i enjoyed very much.
Review: Me, of all people who usualy hates books, loved this one because it was an emoational book that kept me reading for houres. I only gave it 4 stars because I had to write a huge essay report on it, and now I am geting really sick of it. It was still one of the only books that I ever really liked.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: FANTASTIC!
Review: This book is so Amazing. Sad, and you are actually putting yourself in the character's place a lot. You have a child, who has to face a problem, who handles it very well. No matter what he goes through, and how he's treated, he turned out fine. READ IT!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Overwhelming!
Review: This is the only book that I have ever read that actually made me cry. It was so touching and heartfelt that I couldn't put it down! I read this book in 6th grade and then actually meet Jennings Burch. This book gave me a realization about life, and I think everyone should read it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It was a very sad and compelling novel.
Review: This book was a very sad book. I cried more than 5 times while I read this book. I liked this book so much that I would recommend it to others. This book has really touched my life. I now love to read now because this was a great one.

Rating: 5 stars

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It wasn't that bad.
Review: This book actually sucked, big time. I was forced to read it. An illiterate six year old can write better than Burch. If you want a good read look elsewhere. This book bites!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful
Review: This is my favorite book in the entire world. Really, I have a list and this one is at the top. It tells the story of a little boy just trying to survive in the world and find love. The power in this book comes from it being an autobiography which means that it is undeniably true. Everyone who can handle it should read this book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great, heart warming book!
Review: Jennings has a rough childhood but, he was strong and dependent child (surving in the Bronx Zoo). He has been hurt very much mentailly. I liked several themes in the book. One when he asks his brother Jerome (which he is wise), "What is a brother"? And he replies It's someone you care for and the relationship that makes you "brothers" . And when Jennings ask "what is love?" And his brother answer that love is hard word that people say (which is ture), so if a person loves someone they should say it. I also love doggie. He stold with him all of they way :) There's alot more to the story I liked.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: It's good because the author puts so many feelins in it.
Review: The book was good. It was so good because of the amount of feelings the author expressed. There was one downside to it though, I thought. The boy was an eight year old, and he couldn't have been able to know all that. Like some of the words he said he was feeling an eight year old boy does not know those kinds of words. I know he was smart and all but not that smart. Thank You.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A inspiring book of a young child's harships.
Review: This book was incredible. It also reminded me of how cruel people can be sometimes. Jennings remains free of bitterness throughout the whole ordeal which proves that he is a exceptional human being. He also stayed with his mother through her many illnesses and cheered up many of the lives that touched his. Overall, very sad and very emotional
