Review: I think the book was good and humorous, but I think I could have related better had I know the cast of characters. I'm sure the folks in her hometown will appreciate this novel. Her husband must be very secure in his manhood but very selfish to marry a woman who wants children, when he knows he is only trying to please her.

Review: 5 Men was a funny, enjoyable read about all the intimate details of the author's love life. Shapiro manages to revisit all her most painful memories, and recount them with insight and a great sense of humor. Her writing pushes you to read on without stopping, hilariously amusing along the way. It is refreshing to read about such sensitive material in a way that makes you laugh while you learn.
