Review: I, too, was part of the Bach 100 and did his coaching program. I found the book and the program virtually useless. Like many others have said, this information is very basic and most of us are probably doing all of what he suggests already. The chances of my being a millionaire have not been increased since reading the book and doing the program. He says ' you will always be poor without homeownership' But, gives little advice on how to own a home with little or no downpayment. Someone should write a GOOD book on this topic for those of us who live and work areas with exceeding real estate prices and are caught in the 'rent trap!'

Summary: The Automatic Millionaire
Review: If your looking for a way to automate your financial security this is the book to read. I read this book in less than two hours and afterwards I immediately took action the following day and put the automatic millionaire to work for me. Much of his advice is common sense and as I read the book I'm thinking to myself, yeah, I know this stuff, I've heard this before, I know better, I do this well "sometimes". I made the commitment to myself that I was going to take action and follow direction from a professional. I saved myself a lot of money just by signing up on the biweekly mortgage payment plan. In addition, all my banking is done on line and have automated all my billling. There is a lot of good practical advice in this book and if you take action you will save yourself time, money and peace of mind. It is a simple and powerful plan on automating your way to financial security.

Review: David Bach's Automatic Millionaire is an excellent easy to read step by step formula for wealth. David eliminates the mystery of wealth by defining its formula in simple and clear to understand terms. He proactively enables and propels his readers towards a different mind set in regards to personal finances while inspiring the reader through the use of examples and charts. He explains how to set up an automated system to pay oneself first before paying anyone else. David shows and explains how to save thousands by paying off a mortgage early and the best way to pay off credit card debt. This is a must have book for 2004!

Summary: Your Best Investment for 2004
Review: I highly recommend buying both this book and the Smart Couples Finish Rich or the Smart Women Finish Rich books (also by David Bach). I am a financial planner and think these are the best, no-nonsense, put you on the right road to financial freedom books out there. There is no magic. They deal with everyday financial issues and decisions that you are already facing on a daily basis. I promise that you will finish Automatic Millionaire in two days and that within two weeks, you will have significantly altered your financial future with a handful of simple action steps. As a result of Automatic Millionaire, our house will be paid off 14 years earlier, my wife and I have doubled our retirement savings, we are on the road to eliminating all non-mortgage debt within two years, and we have a strategy to build a buffer of 'emergency' savings. Accomplishing this has been relatively painless and most importantly, the tension that used to be part of most financial discussions between my wife and I has now been replaced by excitement about what we are accomplishing. Buy this book, take action and your life won't be the same.

Summary: WOW! A fun, positive, understandable book about money? YES!
Review: The Automatic Millionaire is easy to read, exciting and gives very easy steps that changed my financial life in a day. I've read many books on managing money but they seemed heavy and complicated -- and they didn't stick. The Automatic Millionaire just shows simple ways to make small adjustments, set up accounts online, and get started immediately. (which makes a big difference with your money in the long run!) His positive tone actually makes money fun -- and made me feel quite enthusiastic, energized and happy about money and the easy ways to make it work for me! I wish this book were required reading in all high schools or colleges. I plan on giving this book to everyone I know this year. Thanks, David!!!

Review: david bach's words of advice are so simple to implement that you'll wonder why you haven't done these steps years ago, most are painless and easily accomplished within a few minutes and a few clicks of the mouse, and the fruits of this minimal labor on your part will be tenfold, not just financially, but emotionally -- you will feel more in control, more 'on top' of your financial life, and free to enjoy all the other aspects of your life without any clouds hanging over you, it's a very easy quick read, with the steps completely spelled out for you to change your life within just a few weeks, tell all your friends!!!!

Review: Daivd's latest book is so easy to read and follow. It's written so that all are able to quickly read and adopt his advice. Setting up accounts to automatically work for you - makes financial planning so much easier and soon you will see the fruits of your savings. Your accounts will quickly grow when you automatically add to them each month. Buy the book! You will love it. I did.

Review: David Bach has a wonderful gift of simplifying the complex and explaining how to put the seemingly unattainable within your grasp. This book, as well as his previous books, have changed my life. For those of you who, like me, thought you could never understand the financial world, are overwhelmed by the terminology, and don't know where to start with financial planning, this book is for you. No matter how young or old you are, or how large or small your income, this book may very well become your springboard to financial security.

Review: This book helps you achieve your financial goals without much effort. It helps keep your life simple while doing the steps which lead to wealth. It is written for the "everyday" person looking to have direction in an easy to understand format. I have implemented almost every suggestion and am now watching my money grow....loved this book.
