Summary: Sacrifice equels success
Review: I have to disagree with the above post, the cd or cassette is of value only if you take action. If you listen and do nothing, well the investment in the tape will be like a waste of money, but if you take action, and change your beleifs, then anything in life is possible. Change your thinking (beliefs) you change your life.

I would by live with passion again, but just remember you only need one self help product, as they are pretty much all the same. Take action, for get about the past, its gone, work on yourself and you can change your world for the better.

You only fail in life, if you give up and dont try again, use this tape as a guide to changing your life.

Summary: Boring and uninspiring
Review: I picked this up for 12 dollars at a flea market. I guess I should have used that a clue. This is the stupidest work I ever heard. He takes about 1 hour of material and stretches in into about six. I lived with passion when I threw it on the pavement and smashed it with my bat. Then I cursed at it. Then I went home and farted. That's passion!!

Summary: Great Stuff!
Review: I've never been to a "Tony" event or read any of his books, but I'd heard about him from friends. One of them loaned me this tape set which I promptly left sitting on a shelf for 2 months. Getting around to listening to tapes isn't something I ordinarily do. It was getting to be a long time that I'd kept it, so I thought I'd listen to at least just a little bit of it before returning it. I was very pleasantly surprised!

This tape set is great! Once I was about 2 or 3 minutes into it, I knew I was going to enjoy the whole thing. Robbins is fascinating to listen to -- clearly a master presenter. But more than that, his approach is an energizing blend of sound NLP principles, compassion, encouragement to try new ways of thinking and experiencing, and uncommon good sense.

Robbins has a way of introducing ideas clearly, giving entertaining examples and stories, and providing thought experiments/exercises you can perform for yourself while you are listening to the tapes.

Now, it's easy to be cynical about this sort of thing, to pooh-pooh it, or to cite loftier goals such as total Buddhistic Enlightenment. But for those who haven't closed the doors on the possibility that there might be something of value in learning how to better use one's own mind, and for whom the next step in their personal progress isn't necessarily the Ultimate Nirvana, there are many ideas and fresh approaches in this tape set that could help a person, as a mere, imperfect human being, to get out of a rut or a stuck place and get life moving in a very positive direction -- as Robbins puts it -- with real passion.

If you begin with an attitude of self-exploration, an open mind, and the willingness to learn, there are some real jewels here.

Summary: transformation?
Review: Please consider coming off the merry-go round of these gimmicky self help systems. Trying to manipulate yourself with these types of gimmicks don't really work. Why not? Let's look more closely at the situation:
Believe it or not your are Whole, right here and now, your Wholeness lies in knowing that you are neither your body nor even your mind. By trying to change or fix the mind, you only trip yourself up by continuing the illusion that you are the mind. If you did not identify with the thoughts in the mind, you would be free and experience Wholeness and the Oneness of life, then you would be free from all the COMPULSIVE chasing after goals and a slave to all your desires (attachments). A deep sense of abiding peace would set in.
All the "fix it" techniques keep you tripped up constantly. They focus on changing or fixing your mind, thoughts, attitudes etc. but, as I said, if you learn to rise above that and realize that you are beyond even the mind and discover your self as Pure Awareness itself, then what would you need to learn all the NLP/Robbins fix it techniques for? Your mind would be silent and you would live in your True state and learn to BE. The more you get hung up on manipulating the mind, the more lost you get.
Please look for some good meditation/Awareness techniques, that would be far more helpful. Just about the best book I've ever come across that explains this masterfully, in a very accessable, non-mystical fashion, is The Power Of Now by Eckhart Tolle, I highly recommend it.
Good Luck.
