Summary: This is overall the best book I have ever read.
Review: I have refered back to it on many occasions. I can't understand why some have given this book a bad review. Maybe they have not gotten the results they were looking for because they thought this book would change their life. YOU must change your life on your own; this book will show you how to do it, but it is still up to you! This book helped me change my life and I strongly reccommend it to anyone who is not satisfied with their present situations. This book is inspirational, motivational, and educational. It would be a great loss if you never had the opportunity to read it!

Summary: Tony is powerful & motivating
Review: I listened to this tape every day for 2 weeks while reading the book edition. Nobody is more motivating than Robbiins. At the time, I was like a miniture version of Robbins; newly divorced, out of work, alone and afraid. Thanks to Tony's techniques, I turned that all around. My financial life was also a mess and as per TONY'S ADVICE in a edition of Powertalk, I also bought Wealth Without Risk (now More Wealth w/o Risk) by Charles Givens. Givens tecniques did as much for me financially as Unlimited Power did for me on a Personal Development level. Thank you Tony Robbins for one of the best, if not the very best Personal Development books of all time!

Summary: A great book, it's just eclipsed by Awaken the giant Within
Review: I prefer Awaken the Giant Within much more than Unlimited Power. It obviously contains lot of information, but these aren't quite immediately applicable. Also, I really had a hard time to agree with his argument on food & nutrition, what he said is the exact opposite i've been hearing for years.

Summary: A winner from the world's greatest "life coach"
Review: I think Tony Robbins is brilliant. He's simple and very logical in everything I've ever read or heard by him. When I hear of what some of his critics say, I have to wonder if they've ever even read his books. There's nothing spooky here, folks. Most everything he teaches is a "no brainer"--things you can't believe you wouldn't think of on your own. More than anything else, Tony reveals the obvious, things we were probably too busy or wrapped up in our daily lives to see on our own, hence the term "life coach.""Unlimited" is a classic, probably the most important book written on personal life strategies. (This or "Awaken the Giant Within.) It this book, we are introduced to Anthony Robbins, whom I consider to be the worlds leading authority on self improvement and motivation. He's straight forward and balanced to the utmost. No mind manipulation or emotional hype here, folks. Tony isn't a spooky guru. He's not a cult leader. He's simply a man who has studied and successfully practiced self improvement to the degree that he has become a master in the feild. Get this book. You'll be glad you did! 10 stars if I could!

not a book that you read just once either. There is so much
powerful information that you have to read it again, and read it one or two months later, even six months. Every
year too!! This book should be on everyone's reading list.

Summary: Awaken The Giant Within & Unlimited Power
Review: I was impressed by Tony Robbins from the first moment I read what he meant by "personal power"..namely WILL POWER. He was up front. If you want to change, then use your will power to practise the material. Some of the reviews seem rather strident. Perhaps these folks felt that by reading a book all of their poor habits would automatically disapper. Personally, I enjoyed and benefited by both books and his tapes. Hey, it's true, if you want to become successful then be prepared to be attacked by the bottom feeders.

Summary: The Best in it's class
Review: I'm amazed at the swing in comments regarding Tony Robbins' books, "Awaken The Giant Within" and "Unlimited Power". The bottom line is: if you are receptive for change in your life, these books WILL provide you with a way to get it done. I, like many others had been searching and yearning and knowing that there must be a way to get the most out of life. Everyone has glimpses of what true happiness is while we travel this wonderful path of human existence, but it's not consistent! We either procrastinate, overeat, are overly fearful of just about anything and everything, can't make decisions, and on and on. We KNOW that we can do better, we just can't find the "secret" of how to get it done. Well trust me, nothing can do the work for you! It has to come from within and it WILL take a lot of work and constant attention. This is the road less traveled but this is where the juice of life is! Tony's book, "Awaken .." was suggested to me by a caring soul at a very low time for me. It provided me with a light at the end of the tunnel, a glimpse of what might be if I, and I repeat "I", really put an effort into bettering myself. It lifted me up when nothing else would work. There were negative comments regarding Tony's books as being to much fluff compared to other works on the subject. I've read some of those other books, one of the best for me being, "Think and Grow Rich". However, that book really never came out and told you what to do to get done what needed to be done. Tony's style, while at times self-serving as noted by the various negative comments, is very easy to absorb. This style makes it easy to implement, and thus actually use. I read "Awaken .." first and came across "Unlimited Power" at a book store that was going out of business. I started "Unlimited Power" before actually finishing "Awaken ..", and found that it is more clinical yet maybe a little more direct and easy to implement. Both books are the best of class, infomercial style aside. I heard very bitter comments regarding the seminars that Tony provides. These are indeed quite expensive as has been pointed out in the many negative and positive comments within this review. However, it should be pointed out that the return on investment from these seminars is priceless! (Besides, how can you beat a money back guarantee?) The books are words without emotion. That's not true, somehow while reading Tony's books I could sense an amazing fire and passion behind the words. These books had an amazing propensity to make me excited about me and my life in general. But somehow I knew I needed more. I needed something to get me to that next step up the ladder of success that the books were not providing. I looked into getting the "Personal Power II" tapes. These indeed take you to another level, but still something is missing. I finally bit the bullet and attended the "Unleash the Power Within" seminar in Orlando, Florida. It was without a doubt the most fantastic 3 ½ days of my life! Compared to reading the books, this seminar is like reading about the Space Shuttle in the newspaper or magazine and actually flying the Space Shuttle. Everything that is in the books is presented at the seminar, this is true. However, the master mentor is there to FORCE you and SHOW you how to implement what is taught in the book. Absolutely awesome. Don't get me wrong, I will still refer to the books, as they are an excellent reference book to what Tony has to say. Finally, to all the nay sayers out there, you can never get to where you want to go until you take the first step. This concept is obvious. What is not obvious is when , where and how do you take these steps? These are very tough questions that each of us must answer for ourselves. Tony's books and seminars help you learn about yourself, what you want, and guides you to a point where he must inevitably let you go to find you own way. He has stuck his neck out there telling you he can help you get what you want. For this, he is paid handsomely. Those that take the risks and blaze the trail always reap the rewards. He is simply trying to share that information while at the same time making money. Pretty brilliant if you ask me, and I'm willing to help pay to get back some of what he has to sell.

Review: If you're ready to take charge of your life, start by getting this book. I would recommend it before getting "Awaken the Giant Within", because "Unlimited Power" is much smaller and more condensed in its presentation making it easier to read and finish. One thing though: only get this book if you are prepared to follow through and do the exercises! They're simple, fun and powerful. Reading is great, but you won't see any changes until you take action!

Summary: Great, but this is not the audio-book.
Review: Is a great audio, with clear concepts. This is not the audio-book of his first best seller. It is probably from 1988 or 1990. This is a taped seminar. In it, Anthony, gives the steps to accomplish goals, he gives the concept of personal power, that is, take action towards your goals. This is the very key that differences an achiever from a planner.
