Summary: A great-green book
Review: "A great green book" I have to call this book like that.I think every golfers have to read this book if they want to play golf "sucessfully";I mean joyable in game and lower your scores as possible. I have played golf for 3 years and now are a 17- handicap amateur player.I have been very happy when my scores is good , occasionally I can break 80, and once I had my first hole-in-one.In the other way,I feel very unhappy, frustated when I could not play well, sometimes nearly 100. After I read this book, I can be very happy and joyable in game either the scores is good or not.Actuallly,I observe that in average my scores is much improved.I have a dream of being a single-handicap in the next 4-5 years. But now ,after I have this great green book ,I think I can reach my dream within 1-2 years.

Summary: Spring is here again...
Review: ... and it is time to read Rotella's book once more. Of all the books purporting to improve one's game, this is the only one I can honestly promise, 100%, will work. I read it at least once a year (It's a quick read.) and have given copies to many friends.
Not only will it make you a better golfer, it will make you a better playing partner.

Summary: The Only Golf Lesson You'll Ever Need
Review: A better instructional book has never been written. As an avid 16 handicapper and student of the game, I am a firm believer that golf is more mental than physical. I read the book over the summer and have reduced my handicap a few strokes but improved my enjoyment of the game tremendously. I now pride myself on being able to outthink the guys in my regular foursome. Kudos Dr. Rotella!

Summary: A good book for the mental approach to Golf
Review: A friend and golfing partner gave me this book to read and I found it to be very enlightening and easy to read. Mr. Rotella focus' more on the mental approach to golf than swing plane and mechanics. However he does address the issue and states that there is a time and a place to think about and also practice your swing faults just not on the golf course. He shows you how to focus, improve your accuracy through visualization and taking dead aim, using confidence to improve your putting and how to achieve it.
Simply stated there is a physical side to golf and a mental side and Mr. Rotella shows us how to improve our game and cut down on mistakes, save strokes and improve course management.
He shares stories about his teachings and conversations with several professional golfers and insights into their world.
I carry an 11 handicap and the weekend after finishing this book I shot a 76 after being 3 over through the first 3 holes and finished with 31 total putts. This book will work for you if you are looking to take your game to another level.

Summary: Great book for mental game!
Review: A friend of mine told me about the book a couple of years ago. To be honest I didn't really think that golf was a lot of mental game. Was I ever wrong! This book will help you to reach your true potential.

Summary: Still Hacking, But Loving It
Review: A terrific book for any golfer, of any ability. While I haven't seen my handicap drop by 15 strokes, I have seen my enjoyment of each round increase dramatically. Rotella's book has helped me put the bad shots behind me, and play a smarter game. Best of all, the lessons are easily transferrable to life off the links. I've got my copy on my bookshelf (ok, on the back of my toilet), right next to Mr. Penick's Little Red Book.

Summary: Great to listen after reading the book
Review: After I have read the book, it is great to hear Mr. Rotella himself get back to the most important aspects of his teaching. Very nice to listen in the car when you are stuck somewhere. If you bought the book, you got to buy the cassette.

Summary: If you read one instructional golf book, read THIS one.
Review: After reading only half of this book, I have shot 4-5 stokes better on every round I have played. I have never enjoyed the game more. The advice helped the most when trying to get out of trouble.

Definately 5+ stars....

Summary: This book makes golf fun again!!
Review: After spending 20+ years in the coaching profession, Bob Rotella brings the pyschology of baseball and football to golf. Every page I was exclaiming," Yeahh!, Yeahh." It just made sense. He speaks in plain English. No psycho-babble. You can take his ideas directly to the course and have fun again...the way golf was meant to be played. This is must read for the occassional golfer to the golf-a-holic. Enjoy!!

Summary: The Most Important Lesson
Review: As a 12.5 index golfer, I've been stuck for the past few years, sometimes playing close to par, sometimes into the 90s. What this book taught me is to stop giving myself an on-course swing technique workshop when I play and, well, just play. I'm hitting the ball straighter, hitting more greens, making more putts because I'm taking Rotella's advice, clearing my mind of swing thoughts and just going for the target. Golf's more fun to play this way. The book is liberating, replete with common sense, and you can implement its ideas immediately.
