Summary: Intense - A must read for everyone
Review: Rick Warren wrote a book that was clearly inspired by God. The Purpose Driven Life will give anyone who reads this, a clear picture of why we're here on earth. God has a purpose for each individual person - that's why we're all so different. If you've wondered why God made you the way He did, read this book and you'll soon discover why He instilled within you the unique characteristics and also how to utilize your abilities to make the most out of your life. After reading this book, I have found myself challenged to use my talents and to further the Kingdom of God.

Summary: Easy to read - hard to put down!
Review: I have just begun my Christian life. Our church gave us this book. We are doing the 40 Days of Purpose...thousands of other churches are doing the same campaign. This book has answered so many of my questions and it has also raised many more questions. It is very easy to read. Author recomends that you read one chapter a day. There are points to ponder & verses to memorize.
An absolutely wonderful book.

Review: I have to say parts of this do hit home very well... philosophy, the path I do believe this is certainly an enlightening tool for many searching a better walk with god in all respects, daily interactions and spirituality.

Summary: It's about the love, grace, & mercy of Jesus
Review: Just a great book taking us back to the most important aspect of why we are here-- according to Jesus (paraphrased):"All the law and prophets hang on this-- Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. And the second is like the first-- love your neighbor as yourself." That's it. That's what this book is about. When Jesus gives us the cliff notes to the His entire word, perhaps we should back up and take note. Just a wonderful book. Thank you Rick Warren.

Summary: Better than "Prayer of Jabez"!
Review: I've been a minister for 30 years, and am a "read-a-holic". This book is one of the most thought provoking books for me since The Prayer of Jabez...in fact it think it has been more meaningful.

Summary: Change your Life
Review: This is an awesome book - I wish I had read it 20 years ago. I highly recommend it to every Christian, from teenager to elderly. Take 40 days to read it, a chapter a day and meditate on it. It is well worth the investment.

Summary: Best Book I've EVER read
Review: I've read all of Dr. Warren's other books (Answers To Life's Difficult Questions, The Power To Change Your Life, Personal Bible Study Methods, The Purpose Driven Church, etc) but he outdid himself with this one. WOW! So much wisdom, biblical insight, and meat on every page. I will be re-reading this book at least once a year, and I'm going to give it to all my friends for Christmas.

Review: This book is really an exploration of faith and a guide to better understanding God. It's an analysis of scripture and religion on a personal level. Great book. Another book I would like to recommend that is of equal value is called, "I Talked To God And He Wants To Talk To You".

Review: As a pastor I have been using the biblical principles of Warren's Purpose Driven Church for years. It revitalized my ministry beyond my wildest dreams. The Purpose Driven Life is one of the clearest articulations of how to live the Christian life that I have ever read. I am thrilled to be able to offer this practical presentation of these princples to each person in our congregation. Our entire church is reading the book together and I constantly hear from people, "This book was written just for me."
People are genuinely discovering their life purpose and finding the power to live it out. I can only imagine what my life would be like if I had read this book at 15 or 25 instead of when I'm pushing 50. I've bought a copy for my entire family and this book will be a crucial part of my counseling and discipleship ministry for years to come.
