Review: had no smart information ?.
This is same information you will find in her other books but now we have a different cover and I guess more smart name !!.
If you already own any one of her book, don't waste money for different covers !!. Lillian too publishes new book every months with same information/content but different name and cover , sorry..

Summary: An excellent book for the Feng Shui beginner
Review: I found this and many of her other books very informative and right on the money. I am of Chinese descent and the foundation of Feng Shui is thousands of years old. She makes understanding the concepts very easy for the person who has had no exposure to Feng Shui. While similar, Feng Shui is not based on and is not derived from vintsu.

If you are looking for a well-written and easy to follow book on the principles of Feng Shui....you can't go wrong.

Summary: Informative and helpful introduction to feng shui
Review: This is the first Lilian Too book on feng shui that I have purchased, and so far, I am finding it very useful and informative. It explains the various sectors of the house, when divided into the eight corners of the compass (north, northeast, east, etc.), and how you can use certain colors, shapes, decorations, and furniture styles to enhance these sectors and bring more balance into your life.

The book is also divided into "tips", each entitled with straight-forward titles like "examine the effects of toilets on your bed", so it is easy to browse through the book and look for exactly what you need to find, if you don't have time to read it from cover to cover. I'll admit there is a lot of information to learn, especially if you are new to the topic like I am, but she takes the time to repeat the information when it is pertinent, since there are some taboos you have to be aware of. For instance, aquariums are said to bring good luck when placed in certain corners, but you should never have one in the bedroom. But once you read it thoroughly, you will begin to see how everything fits together, like a puzzle.

This book also has useful diagrams and pictures serving as examples, which one reason I bought the book. My only complaint is that sometimes it won't give you a solution to a problem that you can't do anything about. For example, she says "Do not place a bar under the stairs. This will symbolize the family losing their wealth." This doesn't help you if you already have one, and I doubt people would spend money just to take it out. But I do like her approach to feng shui - she says that we do not have to practice it dogmatically, since there will always be problems that we cannot do anything about. The main purpose for feng shui is to bring harmony and balance to our lives by establishing harmony and balance in the household. This book won't tell you exactly how to clear up your clutter or completely remodel your rooms, but it will teach you the little things that you can do to your interior to bring good changes into your life.

I have yet to experience any significant changes, but like Too says, you need to just be patient and positive.

This book is a good introduction to feng shui, since it pertains to the most important place in your life - your home. After reading this book, you will learn how the essence of feng shui is really almost common sense, and you can begin to use your own reasoning to feng shui your home.

Summary: An excellent book for the Feng Shui beginner
Review: when I have read same information in other books of her again and again ?.
I was not aware of the fact that Feng Shui is derived from Indian Art called 'Vastu'. she never mentions it anywhere.
I read books on vastu ( from India ) and you will realise that vastu is inspiration behind feng shui ,
I have read over 20 books from lillian and she has published same information with different covers , now you guess why ? :)
