Rating: Summary: It's funny because it's troooooo Review: I usually steer clear of little gift books like this, but I picked it up on a whim and laughed so hard I cried as I read it. When I reached the end, I was surprised to see that it was written by a man - it's so dead on. I immediately bought copies for my best single girlfriends, and I'd buy one for ya too, if I knew where you were....
Rating: Summary: Strange book Review: The author of this book is a man, so that's the first problem, and he has the audacity to write this little book acting like he knows what women are looking for in "Mr Right." Hmmm.... Strange and fluffy book, not worth the money.
Rating: Summary: Hahahaha this is even better than "The blue day book" Review: The first one was funny, but this is hilarious. Most of the pictures here are very unique, like a moment frozen in time (believe me, most pictures aren't) and every one of them is cool in their own way. Most of the text is also very interesting (Unlike the "The blue day book" were most of the comments were too simple and too superficial) You definately have to get this book. It's worth both your time and money.
Rating: Summary: Cute book, but men might not enjoy it as much as Review: The pictures and captions are hilarious and so true. I could not stop laughing as I flipped through the pages. I was actually laughing so hard at some of the pictures that I felt silly because I was sitting in a room all by myself laughing harder than I had in a long time. This book really is not a "How to Find Mr. Right" or anything like that, it is just a cute little book that pokes fun at men. Maybe it's just the men I have known, but the book seems to be pretty true. I thought the book was Extremely Funny, and I Recommend it, especially for any single girls!
Rating: Summary: Cute little book Review: This is a great book -- especially if you really are looking for Mr. Right! The text itself is entertaining, but without the hilarious pictures to accompany it, I must admit I wouldn't have bought it. The pictures really make the book. Very cute! Also, for something deeper, I highly recommend "Open Your Mind, Open Your Life: A Little Book of Wisdom" by Taro Gold, which has really helped me find happiness within myself as I continue my search for Mr Right!
Rating: Summary: Disgusting, anti-male garbage Review: This piece of filth was written by a self-loathing male and is bought by misandric, self-centered imbeciles. It's nothing but a grocery list of men's faults and an insinuation that women, in contrast, are perfect. Even violence against men is joked about: suggestions of women shooting men and even severing their private parts.
If there were a similar book about WOMEN being awful, NOW would have sent death threats to the publishing house. Ridiculing men for about a hundred pages is no different.
This piece of sexist garbage is for the woman who says how much she hates men -- and then wonders aloud why no one will go out with her. Who in his right mind would?
