Summary: Not worth the money
Review: I read this book while I was searching for answers to an unfulfilling legal career and it helped to motivate me to leave a firm that I hated and open my own practice with 2 friends. You can read this book in fifteen minutes, but the ideas will stay with you. Generally, each page contains a sentence or two dealing with a progression of thought about the meaning of life and finding your calling. Each page also contains a humorous animal photograph that illustrates the point of the text on that page. In a way, a book about philosophy that is short and to the point like this one can be more useful than a lengthy, more developed presentation.

Summary: Great Photos, Witty and Inspirational Book!

Summary: Delightful
Review: I really enjoyed the counterpoint of these beautiful and sometimes humorous black and white animal photographs.

Summary: Cute, Funny, and Meaningful
Review: I received this book from my friends on my birthday. I love the cute and fun pictures of animals that go surprisingly well with the words.

You can't find the real meaning of life from this book, of course. Yet it does contain some thought-provoking content.

Look at this book for humor and a little reminder of how beautiful and diverse lives can be, as those animals in the book will help show you. :-)

Summary: It's not meant to be complex!
Review: I think the previous reviewer missed the point here.... this book isn't meant to be a diatribe on the deeper facets of the meaning of life. It has a serious but simple message to get across and it does it in a lighthearted way with animal photographs that are delightful and humorous. This is one of those books to pick up when you need a lift, or a nudge back in the right direction. Simplicity and self-belief have a lot to do with the meaning of life... it isn't as complex as we are often led to believe!

Summary: I LOVED IT!!!
Review: I thought(and think) that Bradly Trevor Greive is the best author. I've read all of the other reviews and most of them were either good or horrible. I think that the people who say its the most meaningless thing they've ever read and could've been written by a ten year old are missing the point. Yes, it could have been written by a 10 year old but that's what makes it so fantastic! It's simple and funny.

When I saw the reviews that said the pictures were degrading animals I laughed out loud. I guess they want everyone to think that if somthing is funny then it is degrading. I thought they were extremely uplifting. After I read this book I spent my break asking the questions it asks.

All in all I would recomend this book to everyone who loves to have a good laugh and enjoys some of the most siple things in life

Summary: Meaning of what?
Review: I was unsatisfied with this book. It is quite cliche and far more shallow than the title would imply. Maybe I expected too much, but I assumed there would be some wisdom here deeper than can be found in a Hallmark greeting card. If you're looking for an amazing book of wisdom, try 'Open Your Mind, Open Your Life' by Taro Gold.

Summary: Don't let the cute pictures distract you :)
Review: I'm pretty versed when it comes to motivational and self-help books. There seems to be a trend these days that you must use at least 300+ pages to get your message across, when in reality 95% of that is just "stuffing".

"The Meaning Of Life" is a brilliant book because of it's to-the-point simplicity. Don't let the cute pictures distract you or flip through the pages so quickly; give some thought to the text. I was amazed at what this book did for me!

Summary: What A Crappy Book
Review: I'm thankful that I was able to get this book at the library and didn't spend $15.00 buying it. I own The Blue Day Book by the same author and I think it's fantastic and it cheers me up right away. He should have stopped with that book. It claims to be a witty, thought-provoking book that makes an ideal gift for anyone who's seeking their true purpose and wants to laugh along the way. The only thing this book has going for it is the amazing animal pictures. It did have one thought that I really liked: "Some people say that life is all about acquiring knowledge. If that's true, then why do smart people dress so badly?"
