Summary: The lost opportunity ?
Review: In this novel, Welsh picks up a very exciting setting for a lesbian novel, an environment with nearly unlimited possiblilties in the world of erotic fantasy. She starts of well with a "classical" cast of dominas and submissives, headed by the notorious Col. Spoule. But on our way through the plot, something seems to disappear..... the passion! The mistresses are cruel and stern, and the submissive privates are crawling at their boots. But still, the sex that concludes the scenes is, with a few exceptions, somehow more violent than sexy. Punishment but no passion.....

So much more could have been made out of this plot. Imagine, a female authors fantasies over a lesbian boot camp! I would call it not completely, but a little bit of a wasted opportunity. But still, it's Lindsay Welsh, so it can't be all bad!

Review: Maybe it's just me, but when I want to read about lesbian S&M I like a degree of sexual attraction involved in one or both parties. This book seriously lacked this. The main character just seemed to want to beat the daylights out of the other women in her platoon. Was she attracted to them? Were they attracted to her? No and no. If this book wants to be classified as erotica then I would have to say the author failed to deliver.
