Review: At nineteen, Joshua Janson is, perhaps, the youngest openly-gay novelists in the United States today--and his mother is not Anne Rice. Born on old Cape Cod, he grew up familiar with the gay scene in Provincetown, Manhattan, Palm Beach, and Providence, during the 1990s. He attends a small private college outside of Boston and recently appeared as the gay Mafia son in the forthcoming film, The Haus. A regular at film festivals, he has used these experiences to produce his first novel, which is an insider look at children of movie stars and insider gossip about the movie industry. He says, "Though I have never chased a movie star, several have chased me. The inspiration for the story came from a young man I met in the Leopard Lounge of the Chesterfield Hotel in Palm Beach."
