Rating: 4 stars
Summary: i like it. but...
Review: I wanna be Ramsey. What can I say? I wanna ride around the country in a big camper playing basketball with wild women and writing and making fun of mud baths. The book itself is a lot of fun, with columns from Ms. Sears interspersed with narrative. The two biggest drawbacks are the sex scenes -- maybe I'm a snot, but I think that if you're going to have sex scenes, they should be Good -and- I think they should avoid words like 'earthshattering climax' -- and the happy ending, in which Ramsey overcomes her fear of committment (or promises to try; in fact, the whole fear of committment babble is why this book didn't get 5 stars but 4. It annoys me, I guess, when you get to hear all about how Ramsey Sears is afraid of getting into a relationship for a very cliche reason.) in time to fall for The Girl.

I'm being subjective but, regardless, this book made me envy Ramsey's life. And that, in my opinion, makes it worth reading.
