Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Portrayal of an oasis of femininity and discipline
Review: For most of the women who know it, Aristasia is a game they occasionally play on their computers. Aristasia is a fantasy world where there are no men, where none of the ugliness and vulgarity of post-1960 culture has ever been created, where a high degree of morality and sophistication is the norm rather than the exception. This novel, however, does not take place in "true Aristasia" where men are creatures of legend, nor does it treat it as a game. Instead, it portrays the lives of real women who have chosen to create Aristasian lives for themselves by cloistering themselves away from men and from post-1960 culture. While this is a work of fiction, its authoress and many other women really do lead the life portrayed therein.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An Engaging and Inspirational Book
Review: This novel is a wonderful peek into Aristasia as lived by real women every day. It is an inspiration for those of us who would like to live a more beautiful life. I only wish there was a sequel so that I could see what happens next.
