Summary: An Wonderful Novel That Touches All of Us
Review: "Growing up" is not a question of age, but a continuous struggle towards self-acceptance as well as acceptance of others in all our humanity. It is that humanity that is at the core of "Twenty-Nine." Terri Slater invites us to enter her reality and we are immediately engaged in her journey, because it is our journey. I was very impressed by the quality of writing and the humor with which the author treats her subject matter. I highly recommend this book.

Summary: You must read this book!!!
Review: The main character, Terri Slater, appeals to all readers who have gone through a struggle finding meaning in their adult life. You immediately latch onto her free-spirited ways but also her vulnerability. Her journey to finding that meaning is universally appealing and truly captures your heart. I found the author insightfully captured the emotions we as humans feel when going through this frightening experience. Her writing is funny, engaging and just felt very real. I definitely can see a little of Terri in myself and I think most readers would. This is a great book.

Summary: Page-Turner That is Engaging and Thought Provoking
Review: This book is a real page-turner. It is both engaging and well written. In addition to being very enjoyable to read, the book left me thinking long after I finished it. I highly recommend it.

The book takes the reader though the story of the main character, Terri Slater, who experiences a life full of ups and downs. The story takes you through a journey as Terri works to understand what drives her to behave as she does and what the main events in life that formed her character really are. By exploring these experiences, she better understands her actions and is better equipped to deal with the consequences from them. It also positions her to grow as a person. The author tells the story with humor and a directness that is refreshing.
