Summary: Getting to the Point
Review: An on-target portrait of a family working through the realities and changes of life. The author doesn't hand you answers on a plate but forces you to think a little. A moving portrait of the meaning of family in all its crazy, confusing, and ultimately loving variations. Worth the read!

Summary: Better than expected
Review: This book exceeded my expectations considering the previous reviews. I enjoyed this book immensely. This book does have a point although it takes close attention to find. I recommend this book because I think it portrays life accurately and is enjoyable. If you read for enjoyment more than anything this is definately a good book to get, but if you read to learn something it is only a decent book to get.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Missing the Point
Review: While the characters in the book are vivid and exciting, the story is lost in an attempt to say something that never quite makes it through. I like the style, and did enjoy reading it, but I kept waiting for the resolutions, the point, and ended the book with out seeing a clear conclusion. I am looking forward to reading her other works, as this one as a first effort shows alot of promise.
