Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: lyrically honest and witty Review: Perry Brass' writing has an inherent lyricism about it that permeates even his more boisterous poems. He writes with such tenderness about his lover Hugh, without sugar-coating anything about their relationship. There's also the sharp wit of one who observes people closely in many of the poems, including the sly "I Shoot the Sonofabitch who Fires Me". This is the writing of a romantic with a pointed sense of humor - a must-read.
