Captain Swing: A Love Story

Summary: Read the trilogy and kept hope alive.....
Review: But I am baffled at with self hatred of Larry Deplechan as an African American writer. I would much rather read his auto biography to understand his twisted views on the world. He is a great writer and Captain Swing is no dount a well written piece, but from Johnny Rae's obsession with white men, to his low view of just about every black person is all 3 books, to his twisted sexual relationship with his blood cousin and a justification that could only come from the author's own true personal feelings, I don't know whether to applaud him for being so bold or reccommend him getting his head checked.
