Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: More, please, sir Review: Hot stories, involving style, great writing, cool characters. If this is the best of him, I can't wait to read the rest of him.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Is it just me? Review: It's with some trepidation that I dissent from the unanimous acclaim of the other reviewers of this book. Admittedly Jack Fritscher is a skilled author and reading his atmospheric prose is a pleasure in itself, though not a particularly erotic one. The stories though are polished and carefully constructed to the point that, for me, the life is squeezed out of them. All of the classic icons of male erotica are here but their impact is muted. I would recommend this book for reading pleasure, but not any other kind.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Erotic Authors Association Nominee Best Erotic Fiction Review: On the web I found the Erotic Authors Association which has nominated "Jacked" as the "best erotic anthology of the year written by a single author." A nomination I second, because the writing in this hottie of a book was not ground out on a deadline, or by a bunch of writers, but is a collection of one zippily sick and twisted and wonderful writer who has entertained gay culture for years in dozens of magazines like Drummer and Honcho and Bear and Powerplay and Uncut. This author knows the audience and aims to "JACK" us all off, and I'm pleased to be part of that demographic. Pass the drool bucket, please, and the Kleenex.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great Story Review: The stories are realistic. Jack Fritscher is a great writer and it has wonderful details. I told myself to read one story a week, but I ended up reading that whole book in one day. The stories are that good. The stories are HOT. THere is a lot of steam coming out of this book now.
