Summary: Worst book on gay rights ever
Review: I'm surprised that Cambridge University Press would have published this very weak study of lesbian and gay organizing in Britian and the US. It reads like senior thesis. Instead of this book, I would recommend the serious scholarship of people like Craig Rimmerman, Steven Seidman or Mark Blasius.

Summary: Fascinating
Review: This book provides a fascinating look at the gay and lesbian movement through the lens of politics and society. I was intrigued by the quality of the work, the research, and the practicality of the content. A must read.
