Summary: Sequal not as good as "Looking for Trouble"
Review: I agree with Tar's review. I was frustrated with this "sequel" to "Looking". I noticed a lot of proofing errors, which is highly annoying for such a good writer. The first book was much better at setting up hot encounters and delivering great action. March seems distracted from his writing this time. I don't know whether he was under time pressure to crank something out or that he just lost his 'mojo' on what make mid-to-late 20-somethings excited but I'd recommend taking the time to craft an excellent story collection like "Looking" was. Far better to do quality work than just become a story mill. I'll give him another chance if he comes out with a third set of stories.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Lives up to its title
Review: March is a fun writer. I bought "Hard" based solely on the fact that I enjoyed "Looking for Trouble" a whole lot. And "Hard" does not disappoint. It's not always quite as hot as "Trouble" but there are some fun stories.

Summary: Looking for Trouble was better
Review: The first collection by March (Looking for Trouble) was great - hot varied action of post-teens. Hard is much shorter and the action is less varied. It's as if the author has lost touch with what turns on young guys. There are some good stories but often you feel unreleased at the end of most selections.
