Review: Great characterizations, seamless plotting, an engrossing story. I was sceptical at first, having never read a story with gay characters,but I was hooked from page one.The characters of Kit St. Denys and Nick Stuart are unforgettable, and the lesser characters are also well drawn. I hope there will be a sequel.The book is well researched, and the theater history is fascinating

Summary: Highly recommendable
Review: Without Sanction transcends my expectation. The two protagonists , Kit and Nicky, are vivid characters and immensely likable. The plot itself is touching even poignant. I have to admit I shed more than a tear. As I am a sentimental fool I am satisfied with the ending. But I wish Kit's and Nicky's story need not end. How about a sequel, Roberts !
