Summary: Unsafe, Unreal, Ungood
Review: I made only one mistake when I read this book, I read part of it on a New York subway and let's just say that my raised discomfort made a short trip really hard. I suggest you buy the book but do your self the favor and read it at home and hopefully not alone.

Summary: HOTTEST BOOK EVER!
Review: If I would have known that playing ball was so erotic I wouldn't have hid out in the locker room in high school. This is one hot book. Never have I wanted to play more with the team! This novel oozes with all kinds of wetness, sweat--all delicious things!

Summary: Play ball!
Review: One of the hottest erotic novels I ever read. This one is filled with hot sex between baseball players that never fails to get you sweaty. The center of the story revolves around the growing love between veteran Tommy Bruno and the rookie, Tim Weare. Their love grows and they find the true meaning of team spirit together. If you love the boys of summer--you'll love this one!

Summary: HITS AND RUNS AND OUTS, OH MY!!
Review: The reader reviews on this one got me going even more than the cover art did. If your into jocks, daddies or locker room action this is the book you've been looking for. The sex is hot, hot, hot. The story is easy to get through, (lets face it, we bought it for the sex), and the plot is reasonable. I can't wait for Hitman's next one. I hope it cummin' very soon!!!

Summary: Good [Activity] ...Little Else
Review: The reason that this book only deserves two stars is because of the blown potential. If this book was written right, it could have come accorss as smoldering ..., but because of ..no plot, it just comes off as forgettable. This book follows a 40 year old baseball player as he, well, [interacts] with almost every member of his baseball team. The ...scenes are hot and very descriptive. The problem is that the characters in the book are so underdeveloped that it is hard to pictue what is going on. ...
The only thing that keeps this novel from getting one star is that the author knows how to write a good ... scene- but after you have read through this novel a second time, you'll wish you'd never bought it. ...

Summary: Good Sex... Little Else
Review: The reason that this book only deserves two stars is because of the blown potential. If this book was written right, it could have come accorss as smoldering and sexy, but because of the sex with no plot, it just comes off as forgettable. This book follows a 40 year old baseball player as he, well, has sex with almost every member of his baseball team. The sex scenes are hot and very descriptive. The problem is that the characters in the book are so underdeveloped that it is hard to pictue what is going on. Hitman will introduce us to characters named, let's say, "Jeff" and "Dan", and before we even know what the characters look like, they are going at it. Also, the only real sex scene between the lead character and the object of his affection has a woman in it... which doesn't turn me on(then again, I don't have a thing for women).
The only thing that keeps this novel from getting one star is that the author knows how to write a good sex scene- but after you have read through this novel a second time, you'll wish you'd never bought it. A book with sex between baseball players sounds good, but don't bother buying this book, loan it from somebody. If it comes to buying this or not buying this book, don't bother.

Summary: HARDBALL is as erotic as it is crude
Review: Tom T. Hitman's HARDBALL is uproariously campy as it is crude and salacious. The book's protagonist, Tommy Bruno from the Seaside Top Socks baseball club is suffering from a mid-life crisis with a wrecked marriage. Soon after, he meets a gorgeous rookie Tim Weare who is inexorably attracted to Bruno's primal urges - and there after, the club becomes a menagerie of feral sex from the top management to the players, and even to the errand boy Ricky Catalano.

HARDBALL is no-holds barred, high voltage sexual read right from the start where Bruno explores and relieves himself to the enticing voyeur Ricky. The manager Mitch has a penchance for S&M with the players and there is a romp of behind the lockers scene. In the midst of such debauchery, HARDBALL could have been so much more if not for the lack of redemption in the characters. The repugnance of copulation with rape intent, the infidelity in the characters make such a dispassionate read. Even right up to the end, the immaturity shows when Tim and Bruno gangs up to embarrass the rival player, Jette by picturing him performing fellatio on them.

As such, the raunchy entertainment offered by HARDBALL languishes into a crude sex read no doubt the enticing premises it offers to stimulate.
