Summary: A real awakening
Review: This is one of the most helpful books I've ever read. I never knew there were other women out there just like me. This book is full of wonderful stories that women have written about thier tomboy childhood and how that helped them develop into the women they are today. It also describes how this helped or hindered thier development of a lesbian identity. I highly recommend this book for anyone who was ever a tomboy - gay or straight. It had me laughing out loud recalling my own experiences. It was great to read a book that made me feel normal; like there is a place in this world where I fit.
