Review: This is a great book. It explains the life of a transgender. From childhood through the hormones and operations. I really recommened this book to anyone who knows or is going through a gender change. It answers so many qusetions! Two thumbs up!

Review: This is by far the best written book about transsexualism that I have ever read. I find it amazing that the authors can have such an accurate perception on what it's like to be a transsexual. I have recently told my parents that I'm a transsexual and gave them a copy of True Selves. It has helped them tremendously to understand what I'm going through. They are now very supportive and accepting of my transition. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to understand transsexualism. Through understanding, there is acceptance.
