Summary: This is a disaster
Review: Debra has done a masterful job of combining real life experiences and imagination into a wonderful, suspenseful story.
I found the characters true to life and full of life. This deals with issues in a realistic manner. Thank You Debra for an enjoyable Read

Recommendation: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Summary: This kind of book gives lesbian fiction a bad name
Review: First off, the description about the book is nothing like the actual story line. The mystery and family info is zilch to do with what most of this story is which is badly written, atrociously edited, totally unrealistic sex scenes between characters you just can't care much about. I think this is supposed to be erotica, but you truly can't go more than one paragraph without run-on sentences, messed up lines, and difficult to understand describing. The sex scenes are gratuitus and if you cut all them out, the book would be about 40 pages long. I am going to be mad a long time that I payed that much for such a short book that was billed as one thing and it turns out to be seamy and tacky and so badly written. The only time I liked the main chracter was when she had a death in the family, and then she seemed a little human, but she seemed to forget about it all so fast and be able to get right back into bed. It didn't ring true, and the writing was so terrible it was unbelievable.

Why are there so many new lesbian books coming out that have such terrible editing? Ever since Naiad books stopped publishing, new writers have been self-publishing, and a lot of it is drivel. Isn't there some sort of quality control at any of these new publisher houses? This book needed a lot of help and it sure didn't get it.

Review: I can say that I have read a great deal of books in this genre. When I started this one, the abundance of sex made me want to put it down. Though extremely descriptive though the use of bold adjectives, I look for more in a story. Thankfully I found it. As I read through the chapters, I found a wonderful and modern story develop, with all of the drama and choas that occurs in everyday life. In the end it turns into a great story. It made me want to know more when it was over.

Summary: Made Me Sweat!
Review: I have read some Lesbian Erotica in my time, but this book, Tangled Heat, certainly kept my attention.

I bought the book looking for some Erotica and thought I would take a chance on it...oh my, did I find it HOT! My girlfriend and I both read the book and have to say, both enjoyed it very much. I found the story to flow, with surprises on page after page. Some parts made me laugh and some parts made me think of my own life...

If you are in the market for more Erotica than a love story per say, I would recommend Tangled Heat. The title says it all...for it is a tangled mess, and full of HEAT.

The characters were interesting, and I found them to be very much like people I actually know. The story was kinda like a soap opera, yet I didn't want to put it down, so it definately kept my interest.

I thought the book was great and so did my girlfriend. I would recommend it to women looking for some good Lesbian Erotica!

Summary: Erotica with a twist of mystery
Review: I kept trying to figure out what it was about this book that made it work. I picked it up and started reading and then carried it around all day, reading whenever I got the chance. The story isn't going to make the list of "greatest novels of all time," but it doesn't have to. The book is a retelling of erotica in a fresh perspective. For once, the STORY actually takes precidence over the SEX. Not that the latter wasn't hot, but the former really did alot to make the book better.

Summary: Great Erotica!
Review: I love to read books about lesbian erotica, and was not really gonna buy this til I read the review that said the book more or less sucked, but the sex was hot. Well I am glad I got it! This book was better than I expected after reading that poor review. I hope people don't go by reviews alone, but make their own decisions as I did, cause this is HOT!

Tangled Heat is a story about two lesbians, more or less, girl meets girl..has an affair or two...etc, but the way the writer depicts the erotic sex, definately kept me turning the pages. The writer has a way of taking you there, making you feel the emotion...the HEAT!

I also thought the story was pretty good, unlike the person that thought it was so bad. I think it had enough surprises and twists that kept it both interesting as well as yearning to know what would happen next. I agree, it could be made into a soap opera, with something happening at every turn or someone in bed every other page...but then that is why I bought it!

I would recommend this book to readers that are looking for some HOT erotica and a nice little story as well.

Summary: This is a disaster
Review: This is the worst written book that I've read in a LONG time. I was going to say the story is OK, but it isn't. The dialogue is stilted and uncomfortable. The characters are unbelieveable and, if they had said they loved each other one more time in an unrealistic way, I was thinking about setting the book on fire. The situations are worse than the characters. The only thing I can think of that is comparable to this book is a soap opera, a very bad soap opera. You won't believe the situations these people find themselves in or how they are resolved. The only good thing about this book is that it has lots of sex. Lots of hot sex. In fact, that's what the author is best at writing, but you can tell she let her fantasies run wild with some of these scenes. And when will people stop writing books about lesbians who can't seem to meet any woman without having sex with her? So, if you want a well written book, this isn't it. If you want to read sex scenes that will definitely turn you on, then this is the book, but at least you know why you're buying it.
