Summary: A fantastically captivating book!
Review: "I promise I'll do it tomorrow" is such an easy phrase to say. But what if you weren't guaranteed a tomorrow much less able to make a promise to anyone?

One woman faced with an uncertain future, runs away seeking a place of solace. What is she running from? Why is she running? Arriving at a place called Whitley Island, she meets a woman who is running recklessly into life seeking....something. What is she seeking and will she know it when she finds it? Forming what seems a tentative friendship at best, one begins to experience "feelings" for the other. One hesitates to form any feelings at all. Can they deal with life as it's presented on a day to day basis with or without a "promise of tomorrow"? What will they do when "Real Life" intrudes into the picture? Who or what is this real life intrusion? And will the old saying of "Love Conquers All" prove true?

Radclyffe is a tremendously talented writer and once again rings true with her ability to hold the reader captive, taking them through a gambit of emotions during a dramatic tale of life, love, loss and the pursuit of happiness.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good, but not up to her standards
Review: I love Radclyffe's books, so I looked forward to this one with a lot of hope. Sadly, it didn't deliver. From any other author, I would say the book is amazing. But knowing what Radclyffe can do, this book left a little to be desired.

So much more could have been done with Arienne's career. (Although I understand if the author didn't want to make a political statement.) Also, Mrs. Whitley's romance seemed a little forced, almost like Radclyffe wrote it as an afterthought and didn't know what to do with it.

Overall, this book is worth reading and owning. Just be prepared.

Summary: What are you willing to face for love?
Review: I never have to read a Radclyffe book to know that I'm going to rate it 5 stars. Her writing is always good and consistent. She has me so hooked that I read them online and then have to read the printed book to see how she has improved the story. This book shows how important that can be. There is more depth to the story here than the online version. Basically, you have a woman who is trying to hide on an island while she tries to assess her life and what she should do with it in the face of potentially devastating news. She thinks she has no future. And she meets another woman who is living on the island, but it is an empty life that appears to have little purpose. Neither one is looking for love, but they find themselves drawn together. If they acknowledge their love, can they face an uncertain future together? Find out.

Summary: Heartbreakingly Hopeful
Review: I was drawn in immediately by these passionate characters. If Tanner is a raging tide, then Adrianne is the calm below the surface. If you are going to pick up the book and read it, don't expect to get anything else done that day. You'll ignore the phone, the knocks at the door, and quite possibly the pleas of loved ones, just to finish this story. I have read all of Rad's writing and this is definitley one of my favorites. Rad captures intensity and compassion so beautifully, you forget you are reading a book and not experiencing these feeling first hand.
Well done.....would a sequel be too much to ask ;-)

Summary: Sweet wonderful romance
Review: Just what I wanted - 2 excellent characters - very believeable and heart wrenching. Wonderful scenery around the Eastern Seaboard of the United States. Excellent slice of life. Loved it! Very mature story line - if you are a grownup who likes a solid read and a good romance this is for you. I started by loving Adrienne and then cheering for Tanner.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Awesome and heart wrenching
Review: Once again Radclyffe has written a book where you can feel the emotions of the characters.
Adrienne has escaped her own tortured world, expecting to be left alone, but along comes Tanner...
Radclyffe's character development and love scenes are the best in lesbian fiction today. You become invested in the characters and want to know if there is a happy ending.

Summary: good romance

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: engaging! meloncholy, exciting
Review: Very well written yet, all of Rad's books I think are well written. Kept my interest thoughout. I thought a bit sad and I loved the happy ending. I'm glad I read this book!! Defentally a must read...

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great characters, as always
Review: What makes Radclyffe a great writer is her character development. I first read this book on-line (like most of her books) and was really impressed. The two main characters are both interesting and pretty believable. I will say that her two main characters in most of her books have the same feel to them, but when you enjoy something a lot it doesn't matter how many times you experience it. The ending feels incomplete in that i'd like to know what comes next, so i'm still hoping for a sequel. Also, check out her Love & Honor and Safe Harbor series if you enjoy this one.
