Summary: Funny, Sexy, Smart
Review: I had read a few of Ian Philip's stories before in past Best Gay Erotica volumes so I knew he was amazing, but nothing prepared me for this collection. It's fantastic! Crazy characters, witty dialog, and hot, hot, hot sex! It's funny, sexy, and smart. Ian Philips is one of the best erotic writers I've ever read. Not many stories can make you think, laugh, and get (...), all at the same time. Here's a whole book of them!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Smart, Tasty, and Raunchy
Review: I was so bored by this book that I refused to use my time to finish reading it. My time is far too valuable to waste on nonsense like this so-called collection of erotica! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Summary: Hopelessly pretentious
Review: I've loved this. You'll find that the esprit of good satire can be compatible whit real, juicy erotica. In this, Ian Philips joins Tom Robbins (on the Hetero side) and Alan Hollinghurst in "The Spell". Recommended for the forlorn of love, who'll laugh at the awkward faux passes of the capitalists of sex!

Summary: Not even good for bad porn.
Review: This book was a waste of time. If this had not been on a required reading list for a college course, I would have trashed the book after 15 pages. Save your money and go to a peep show. The booth will be in a better shape than the writing in this book

Summary: Smart, Tasty, and Raunchy
Review: Wow! I'd read some of Philips' stories in the past in different anthologies such as the Best Gay Erotica series so I knew what I might expect. I purchased his second collection, Satyriasis, first, and devoured it in days. Should have bought them at the same time! I ran out and got his first, See Dick Deconstruct, the same day I finished Satyriasis. Both of these collections rock! He's a fantastic storyteller, weaving amazing characters, locations, themes, and a glorious array of sexual appetites, into something far more than powerful than any other erotic writer I've ever read. This is biting, smart satire, all wrapped up in tasty, raunchy fun. Get both collections!
