Rating: Summary: Beyond All Reason for a LONG TIME Review: One of Peggy's finest to date! I loved the realism of each character. They each have their own struggles but work to make relationships a success. To me, the story is all about trust..the key to all relationships. In the end, trust always prevails. Peggy's humor shines through as well. Pay special attention to Aunt Reba and Juanito! Nice work, Peggy!
Rating: Summary: Solid read Review: Peggy always gives you a fully developed plot and her characters aren't antsy pants wanta be's either. You have substance, details and diologue that fits.I've been a fan of Peggy J. Herring for years and have never found any of her books to be poorly written or poorly edited as I have found with a fly by night desktop publisher that just doesn't know what editing a manuscript really mean or how important it is for the people that spend $ for books. Purchasing this book will give you a solid read and you won't put it down until you finish it.
Rating: Summary: warm feeling deep within Review: Peggy writes them simple and sweet with just enough sass to keep you thumbing the pages and glad you get that warm feeling deep within when reading her books. The story has a bit of a twist to it, and you think beyond all reason was the right title. Good characters, very interesting storyline and just enough sensual throbs to satisfy the most demanding reader. Great read.

Rating: Summary: Herring Hits Her Stride Review: This is easily the best of all of Peggy Herring's books to date. Her writing has smoothed out. This book shows a real transition to a more subtle style. The plot was a strong one, too, and I was pulling for both characters. It's a good beach book with some serious issues that made me stop and think. Part of me wanted the family to reap what they sowed, but the ending was happier than that. Where Herring could continue to improve is how much she tells instead of shows. For example, in the opening chapter, Tonia's life story is related, but it's not really Tonia thinking about these events in her past, but rather the author telling us about them so we'll know when stuff happens later. Flashbacks with live dialog and action would have worked well instead of passive recitation of events. Nevertheless, Beyond All Reason was a good read and well worth the time and money. It leaves you satisfied at the end. Plus, it's professionally edited and produced (from Bella Books) which means there are only a few typos and grammatical flaws in the whole book instead of a few on every page, like some of the amateurish messes being desktop published these days. Not everything that looks like a book is worth the paper it's hurriedly printed on (e.g. Around We Go, which was saturated with typos and flaws like bad noun/verb agreement), so I'm glad to say Beyond All Reason is worth the investment.
Rating: Summary: If you like romance you'll like this Review: This is not Herring's best work. Usually, I can read her stuff in one gulp. I had to work at this one. The plotting seems loose and the characters with the exception of Rosalie, superficial. It's almost as if she went back and reworked an early manuscript. Not up to par.

Rating: Summary: Beyond All Reason Review: This is one of those books that you hate to set it down. I found myself wondering how soon I could back to read some more of it. This author has a unique way of grasping your attention and holding it. You don't even realize she is doing this to you.I have read a lot of books in my 47 years but this author has a talent for turning writing into an "art". There is a difference - lots of people can write, but it takes an author like this one to make you feel as if she has taken you out of your surroundings and placed you in the very place where the book is taking place. You even envision what the people look like. By the time you get done reading the book you feel as if you know the people on a first name basis. This author has a God given talent and has definately changed my books of choice.
