Rating: Summary: Funny and Poignant Review: Jones has a talent for keenly observing everyday life, and then weaving a story in a humorous and touching way. I did "laugh out loud" many times, and would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, quick summer read!
Rating: Summary: I love this book! Review: Lisa Jones perfectly captures what it feels like to be a young adult searching --for love, friendship, and your own real life. Not the life your parents thought you would have, not even the life that you expected to have, but the whole messy, confusing, heartbreaking, yet thrilling reality. The best part is that she captures this feeling in such a light, funny way (with great dialogue!) that you don't even realize what amazing wisdom is packed into 120 pages. So read it once for the fun and a second time for the message, then tell all your friends!

Rating: Summary: More than the top layer...more than the laughs... Review: Lisa Jones, Wear your seat belt, don't smoke, take your vitamins...Live long and write many more books! This is a great first novel. Your voice is new. Keep working, PLEASE. This reminds me a bit of Anne Tyler's first book...not in style but in the individual voice that shines up through the story's telling. Great charecters (this is hard to do). Great dialogue (also hard to do). Great courage in opening up and revealing a wonderful love story that anyone can relate to. Also a great read! Can't wait to read your books in the future...
Rating: Summary: Recommended Review: My wife recommended this book and I'm almost certain that she isn't a lesbian. After reading Donna Tartt's "The Little Friend", I needed something fast and fun. I'm almost certain that I'm not a lesbian and I enjoyed this book. Love is love and confusing relationships with the potential to shatter your heart are universal. But it is a funny shattering.
Rating: Summary: 121 pages of great wit & humor! Review: Oh where do I start? This is a story of a young lady discovering her identity by encountering a female friend + extra humorous and sleazy men on the side. Becky's college experience really moved me to the point where I just had to keep reading the book as slow as possible to catch all the witty details! Dealing with parents on accounts of sexual orientation can be tough situation, and Lisa Jones give a realistic perspective on the subject. The dialogue in this book is fantastic, and I highly recommend this to everyone, heterosexuals, bisexuals, and homosexuals alike. Perhaps this book should be re-written as a TV show or movie! Lisa Jones is a fantastic writer, and might I add, a very wise individual... Great novel!
Rating: Summary: Very disappointing! Review: The author is trying very hard to be hip and funny. The result is predictable and shallow. Good thing it's very short...
Rating: Summary: Loved IT! Where's the follow-up novel? Review: This was a fun, quick-read. Without having much in common with the main character (thankfully), I could certainly relate to her! I laughed out loud! I'm looking forward to Ms. Jones' next novel!
