Summary: another excellent book by an excellent writer
Review: Again, This book is a great book. Even though it is not part 3 to Invisible Life and Just As I AM. It still ties in one of the chacters which makes the story even more interesting. You must read Invisible Life and Just As I am to see the significants of this charater. It will have you waiting and wanting a sequel to this story too. This book shows you have 4 different people have a lot in common. And how money doesn't make you, and you can't buy love. It also shows how an outward apperance can fool you. Never judge a book by it's cover. The ending is great. Read it for yourself

Summary: Harris' best work to date
Review: In yet another tale, Haris manages to both tantalize and suprise the reader with his realistic and understanding potrayal of the often unclear world we live in. Issues of sexuality are dealt with in ways that are both believable and often as amusing as they are significant. It is hard to imagine a reader Gay, Straight or otherwise, who cannot find someone in the storyline they feel they can understand. This sort of realism is what makes Harris' spicey tales of lust, love and life a clear winner for enjoyable reading.

Summary: Why does everyone turn out to be gay???????
Review: I've read (and enjoyed) all of Mr. Harris' books but after this one I was annoyed. Why does everyone ALWAYS turn out to be gay??? It would have been so refreshing if Zurich had been straight. Instead, Mr. Harris went for the obvious choice and confirmed my belief that instead of just writing entertaining, thought provoking novels from a gay man's point of view, he forcing his "they're more gay men out there than you think" message down our throats. Well, I think this may be my last E. Lynn Harris adventure.

Summary: Struggles for love in a tough society
Review: AND THIS TOO SHALL PASS is an inspirational story about four main characters. The characters each lead different lifestyles and face real-life predicaments in search of true love or accomplishing their goals. As a reader of this novel, you will find that you actually may relate to at least one of the characters, which lures you to keep on reading no matter what hour of the day. Harris, my all-time favorite author, delivers yet another story filled with entertaining dialogue, refined characters, realistic dilemmas, and interesting topics of-- love, hope, friendship, and dreams. While reading this unique novel, I found it to be more and more difficult to put down because I was always in suspense to see what surprises would be next. The character Sean, an African-American, gay male can best be compared to Leland in IF THIS WORLD WERE MINE, another excellent novel by E. Lynn Harris. Both characters share the same lifestyle with struggles as gay men in a controversial society in search of true love like any other couple. Once again, Harris has written an outstanding novel which I would recommend to any audience. If you want to find out if Sean ever finds the love he's been searching for, you'll have to read AND THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!

Summary: A disappointing read........
Review: I waited until I had read all of Mr. Harris's work before I gave my opinion on this book. I loved all of his other works although I must say that this book is not his best effort. My main problem with this book is the lack of a truly likable or sympathetic main character. There was no reason to care about these people. I found myself at the end thinking that Caliph was the only realistic character in the book and he was barely a secondary character! Tamela was too over the top; I can't imagine why Caliph wanted her. Sean was sneaky in his search for the "truth" about Zurich's past and seemed to be rather cynical and self-serving for most of the book until he "decided" that he was "in love" with Zurich. Did anyone see the two of them falling in love? Mia was pathetic and still had not taken full responsibility for her demons at the novels conclusion. Was her drinking ever explained? Zurich was completely unbelievable! What are the odds that both he and his twin would both be gay, in addition to Sean's sister? I'm not sure where E. Lynn wanted to go with this book but he really missed the mark with this one.

Summary: The book was very good. I loved it.
Review: The book was very well written. I definitly give the author 10 stars for it. It simply put how certain things will haunt you if you don't fix them first. May I add that it also means that if you don't know some thing don't be afraid to ask God.

Summary: OUTSTANDING FROM BEGINNING TO END!!
Review: I am so very proud of E. Lynn Harris on yet another superb novel. I have been a fan since "Invisible Life" hit the book stores.

This novel was truly an eye opener. I enjoyed this one so much I read it in 1 day.

I couldn't help but to smile when I finished this one.

Mr. Harris, keep up the good work and I am looking forward to your next masterpiece!!

Summary: One of Harris's Best Yet
Review: E.Lynn Harris has done it again. Once again he has stimulated all readers, heterosexual and homosexual, and given us a great novel to read. The characters are ones the reader will never forget. I finished the entire book in 2 hours flat. All fans of Harris shoud read this. It is the best one in the 4 book series.!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A Masterpiece of literary genius!
Review: I have now read all four of E.Lynn Harris' books and can't decide which I liked best. Invisible Life and it's sequel, Just as I Am, were very good and I expected this book to be the next sequel but it wasn't. I like the way the character's lives become intertwined and the story that Mr. Harris weaves leaves you on the edge of your seat with anticipation. It had all you could ask for in a novel: romance, intrigue, mystery and suspense! I am also intrigued with how he has woven John Basil Henderson throughout all four books even though he is a minor character. Could he be the main focus of the next E. Lynn Harris book??!!! MamaCee!!!!...where are you when I need you?
