Summary: Thumbs up !!
Review: If you are an E. Lynn fan, this book is a must read. Once again, he did not let us down. I finished this book in 3 and a half hours. It grabs you from the begining to end. In this book, you actually could feel sorry for our friend Basil (just a little). Upon finishing this book, all I could think was, when is the next one hitting the stores. Congratulations, to E. Lynn, an author that keeps you wanting more.

Summary: Emotional Rollercoaster
Review: I thouroughly enjoyed finding out what Yancey and Basil lives turned out to be. However, Yancey deserved more pain in this book that she didn't get. It is good however to know that she is turning into her own person and not a puppet of her evil mother. As for Basil. I really began to feel sorry for him. He got what he deserved but he also got things he didn't deserve. All in all the book was excellent. There are new characters in this book, whose lives are just as twisted as Yancey's and Basil's. (Marlana, Bart) I'm betting the next book would feature them. I sure hope so. . . . . . .

Summary: Great Read - but lacks a great ending
Review: It took me a few days to open this book but when I did I couldn't put it down. Once I started reading it, I finished it in 24 hours. I've read several others by E. Lynn Harris but I only read them by chance not because I'm a big fan. Now I have to read Not a Day Goes By since I didn't realiaze this was a sequel.

I enjoyed the characters and was transfixed to the book, but was disappointed with the ending. The way he left this thing with Desmond & Yancey so unfinished it seems like he has already planned another book...And he worked up this situation with Basil and Nico only to have nothing happen with them in the end. Basil and Rosa is another area that was short...I felt he should have had Rosa re-enter the picture a little while earlier and that was stupid story line to have her say she wanted to raise the baby alone - no one wants to raise a child alone. And for Ava to go down without a cat fight was out of character for her. Another thing was Raymond Tyler - there was something he was about to do but he was never mentioned again. This book started out like a big juicy green grape but ended up ended like a dried up raisin. I felt the same way about Abide With Me. I will not pay full price again for another of these books. I have truly been enlightened about gay and bi relationships, but the only thing that makes me want to keep this book is the beautiful work done on the front and back cover.

Summary: Nasty!
Review: Great book. Couldn't put it down. Worked on my tan and by the time I had it read I was brown as a berry. E. Lynn Harris is a sensual writer with a knack for knowing what the reader wants. I love it! I would like to also recommend The Color of Revenge by Millicent Hart. It will blow you away!

Summary: Wonderful, Just Wonderful!
Review: I am a huge fan of E. Lynn Harris. I have read everything he has written. Anyway The Wind Blows brings back the characters from Not A Day Goes By (Yancey, Basil, & Ava). Raymond Tyler makes a cameo apearance, and there is a new character, Bart. Yancey is usy being the diva she was born to be. Her singing career finally takes off. She is way past the days of Broadway. What surpises me is the fact that she comes forth with the truth about Madison. She ends up being a totally different person than the person we first met. Basil is still walking on both sides of the fence. Bart is bold enough to actually try and catch him out there (of course with the help of Ava who thinks she still has a score to settle). Basil finally gets something he's wanted for a long time. You'll have to read and find out what it is. In his darkest hour, Raymond Tyler comes to his rescue. He learns who his real friends are. Nico, definitly isn't someone I see in Bro. Harris' next book. Any Way The Wind Blows was not Bro. Harris' best work, but it was still worth it. I can't wait for the next book.

Review: He has done it again! I finished this book in one night. I love that Raymond was in this novel. Will he and Basil ever get together? Ava, the .... of ....., is back and once again worked my last nerve. I was also glad that Yancey grew up and let her immoral mother be. I have read all of E. Lynn books and they just keep getting better and better. Can't wait to read the next one.

Summary: Goood but..............
Review: I love E.Lynn Harris not just his writing but his personality. I have never seen an author so appreciative of his audience. He is so kind at his book signings and very personable. But his last two books have not been very good. The only thing that keeps me coming back to read his books is that he had made his audience curious about Basil. His story lines are weak and very predictable. I wish he would find the hunger that he one on his first two books, Invisible Life and Just as I am. I suggest that people buy the book but don't expect a masterpiece.

Summary: Excellent!!!!
Review: If you loved E. Lynn Harris other books you will definitely enjoy "Any way the wind blows". He brought back my favorite character Basil Henderson. You just got to love him!!

I read this book in a day and was left wanting more. I can't wait for Mr. Harris to come out with another book, cause when you finish you know there has to be more.

Mr. Harris has become one of my favorite writers amongst J. California Cooper, Eric Jerome Dickey and Terri McMillan to name a few.

Go out and get his book today!!!

Summary: TOO SLOW....
Review: Well you are probably wondering why i said too slow, i meant the audio, i brought the audio at my favorite bookstore in Detroit Mi Apple Books and i was listening to it and he was reading too slow, i wanted to know what was going to happen next faster than he could tell me, so after sitting patiently for about 2.5 hours, i decided i would read it faster than he could say it, so I went and purchased the book and sure enough, i read that story front to back in less than the time it would have took for me to sit down and listen to the tapes. I loved it, from the beginning, where he was scandolous enough to call his own apartment and make sure the number was placed on his caller id, to the end, where he was advised to leave Bart alone and to concentrate on the people who loved him. Best advice I had heard yet. The book was as detailed as the previous novels and just as compelling, i am sure that Basil and Yancey had their five minutes of fame, and as much as i have enjoyed it, i am not mad this is the end. We want to explore all the aspects of E. Lynn Harris' characters and his style and creativity. I had the honor of meeting him just last night and i am sure he is ready to move onto a bigger and better venture, good luck to reading this book until the next one.............

Summary: Any Way the Wind Blows
Review: E. Lynn Harris does it again, he brings back a mix of characters from his previous best sellers, focusing on John Basil Henderson, who's glad to break the hearts of both women and men. When Basil finds his life swinging out of control, he wonders whether former fiance Yancey and her bombshell mom, Ava, are after him again. This book is amazing. I have to read it again
