Summary: Disappointing
Review: This book is as shallow as its main characters, Basil, Yancey and Bart. It just wasn't up to the standard Mr. Harris set in his previous books. The storyline was weak, we are to believe noone knows who Yancey's song is about. She is a major star in the making, noone can figure it out? She was previously engaged to Basil, a major athlete, not some anonymous working stiff! Granted, thier engagement might have slipped by the "mainstream" media but it would not have slipped past Ebony and Jet. Please!!!

The ending was most disappointing, everything wrapped up in a nice little bow. All these very flawed people needed was someone to cry with. Not Jesus or longterm couseling.

In the end, it seemed like Mr. Harris was just satisfying a contract.

Summary: Consequences
Review: This book was a vast improvement from Not A Day Goes By which to me was a reflection of an "I know that this will be a bestseller anyway so I don't have to put any effort in it" attitude. This book however was EXCELLENT! It got into consequences of our action and what goes around comes around. Often in life we do things to people that we simply know we shouldn't do and don't think about the consequences to us or them. This book demonstrates that. Finally some resolution for Yancey and Basil. This book gives me some hope to the ability of people to change. Not to mention is there some forshadowing at the end with mention of an all time favorite character???????

Summary: KEEP THEM COMING...
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Bringing back Yancey, Basil, Ava (ignorant mofo), and Raymond. Adding Bart (off the hook), Wylie and Desmond. Each character was real you loved to hate most of them. But you were keeping it REAL. You have done an exceptional job again. Please keep them coming. I can't wait for the next one.

Summary: Bravo, Great work!
Review: A story I wished would never end. But when it did end I was completely satisfied. The turnabout in the characters of Basil and Yancey, were excellent. E. Lynn lets his readers know you can always change, your life is not predestine, you are the master of your fate. I really enjoyed this book, and am looking forward to the next.

Summary: A Good Book But Not The Authors Best
Review: I liked this book, I didn't love it though. It was a quick read because it was hard to put down but when you finished you feel a little cheated. There is something missing, the characters weren't completely fleshed out, and the ending was wrapped up too quickly and too happily. The book starts where 'Not A Day Goes By' ended with Yancey and Basil living their seperate successful lives, but throw Bart Dunbar into the mix and lives are thrown into chaos. I am eager for the sequel because this book did have few loose ends that I would like to see get wrapped up and hopefully the sequel will have more scenes with Raymond.

Summary: I'm still saying, "Whaaaat!"
Review: E.Lynn Harris you are just too much! John Basil Henderson is/was the mofo to end all mofos but you actually started giving him a heart. Yancey Braxton might actually be a grown-up diva. Your positive ending still has me saying "Whaaat!" with a huge smile. As always I couldn't help myself so I stayed up until 4:44am on a work night to read your book from cover-to-cover and enjoyed every minute. I can't wait to read your next book, this ending just makes me wonder what happens to Yancey & Basil. Even if you don't continue Yancey & Basil's story the ending brought them full circle and bid them farewell with class.

Summary: I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SURPRISED
Review: E. Lynn Harris is worth his weight in gold. Any Way the Wind Blows is very entertaining and a page-turner. The reader will definitely want to know what happens next. I read this book in one sitting and didn't regret staying up to do it.

I should not have been surprised at his ability to weave an even better tale than Not a Day Goes By--but he did.

Hats off, Mr. Lynn and congratulations once again.

Summary: Never Boring!!!!!!!
Review: Just like everybody else I couldn't wait to purchase the book. Mr. Harris makes reading entertaining and very interesting. I can't get enough of Basil and Yancy...I hate to admit it, but I like Yancy's crazy momma, Ava. Keep up the great work Mr. Harris.

Summary: E. Lynn Harris Does it Again!!!
Review: The book was excellent and a definite page turner. I purchased the book as a birthday gift for a friend who had never read Harris' work. She finished the book within days and now wants to read all of his books!!

Once again, Mr. Harris is able to intrigue readers with twists and turns in the plot. Although the saga continues with Basil and Yancey, old characters were reintroduced and new ones were given life. This book will keep you reading to find out what happens and make you mad once you are done...because you wish there were more.

I look forward to the next one!

Summary: Still addicted -- E Lynn did it again
Review: E Lynn Harris has become my favorite author even though I'm not an avid reader in NYC. Let's say I read (Any Way...) in one day...laughing the way thru...you'll feel like you either know or met some of these characters in your life...
