Summary: Love at First Sight
Review: "Laguna Nights" is one of the most romantic books ever written! The love Alex and Samantha share will restore your faith in love at first sight! Both are lost souls, searching for their other half, until a chance meeting on a lonely stretch of beach, changes both their lives forever...and will yours, as well, if you'll simply read this book! Alex and Samantha's world is far from perfect...the obstacles they face to be together threaten their very lives, but true love can conquer all, if you believe in it and cling to it with everything you have. Read this book and allow Carole Giorgio's special brand of magic to transport you, heart and soul to a world where dreams really do come true!

Summary: Here's to oversize shirts, good wine, and romantic sunsets!
Review: "Two Hearts, One Soul:" That Alex and Sam were to meet was preordained; Sam was, after all, Alex's "destiny." The development of the relationship between two lovers for whom a reunion is inevitable is enough to touch the heart of any romantic. But there is more story here: The trials and tribulations of beginning a new business, the importance of family and friendships, environmental concerns, and just the right touch of mystery, intrigue, and a fun touch of mythical reference. As a bard, Carole Giorgio is a wonderful weaver of tales and a writer who displays a real passion for her characters. It's catching. One can't help but become totally enraptured with Alex and Sam --and totally caught up in the story in which Carole has placed them. I can't wait to meet Alex and Sam again in the sequel, "Sedona Rain!"

Summary: Its long but nicely written
Review: Alex sitting alone on the beach, her heart goes out to the captivating woman draped in an atmosphere of melancholy. At that moment the farthest thing from Samantha's to fall for this tall woman, but in a very short time she does, then all hell breaks loose with the two women going through all sorts of trials. Beautifully written scenery (beach scenes) and nicely written about the business inenity of a world class spa and health facility. Not many authors could really capture my field the way Carole has in this book. It is a long novel, but nicely written and a great read.

Summary: Well Worth The Time
Review: And the common-denominator in all great books are the gems that they were written well. Carole combines an elegant literary style and magisterial command of the canon with a fierce moral passion that threatens, at times, to come slightly unhinged, making this a long, long read, but well worth the time.

Summary: Excellent Background
Review: Greek Mythology tid-bits were very inviting and the background information on both the main characters is rather nice for a change. Not like some other readers, I found the length delightful. Strong recommendation for a long rainy day. This was a better than average Lesbo novel.

Summary: I Love it!
Review: Hot Hot Hot! Don't read it if you are not in a loving relationship or willing to taken long showers.

Summary: Didn't do it for me either
Review: I agree with reviewer(Judith) from Ft. Lauderdale. We all know this is fiction, but for 450 pages of a thick book, i didn't find any depth with the story line. Dissapointing!!!

Summary: I REALLY liked this book
Review: I happened to enjoy this book a lot. I think it's one of the best lesbian love stories I've ever read, and certainly the best in the category of stories that take their inspiration from the "Xena:Warrior Princess" TV show. I found myself relating closely to the love story between Alexis and Samantha, and enjoyed reading how their relationship unfolded. I think Carole Giorgio is a very gifted writer, and I'm looking forward to reading more of her work.

Summary: Didn't do it for me!
Review: I keep hoping that something will reach out and grap me in this book. But so far as of page 400 (of 445) nothing has. I find that the characters do not have any depth. I still don't know who Alex is or what she is feeling, except for her feelings about Sam. What happened in her previous relationship? All we know is her name. What about her parents? Did their lifestyle have an influence on how she turned out? I want characters to reach off the page and make me feel something for them. I want to care what happens to them. What ever suspense the author is trying to create with this mysterious person popping up every once in a while is not being sustained. Too much time passes between encounters. Therefore, the suspense is lost. I wanted this book to be better and I keep hoping. After all there is still 45 pages left. But if nothing has happened in the first 400 I suspect nothing much will in the last 45. As an after thought I finished reading 3 books prior to this, namely "To The Edge" by Cameron Abbott. "Curious Wine" (for the upteenth time) by Kathering Forrest. And "Innocent Hearts by Radclyffe. These are great characters. Especially Jessie and Kate. They could easily be compared to Xena and Gabrielle. But never Alex and Sam.
