Rating: Summary: The Daily Grind Review: If you wish your office mates were a little wittier in the break room in the morning, this is the book for you. It's got all those funny one-liners that you wish someone had thought to include in your e-mail, but didn't -- the ones you envy when you see them taped up in other cubicles. For regular readers of The Vent, this is pure bliss -- the best of the lines you meant to go straight back to your desk and write down, but promptly forgot. One of my favorites: "The two biggest problems in America are making ends meet and making meetings end."Note that Amazon also has a four-volume boxed set of excerpts from The Vent which doesn't include this book -- all are guaranteed day brighteners.
