Review: Gamblers who are unsure of all the rules of a casino game or want to understand the basic concepts of when to hold'em and when to fold'em will find the information in this text to be useful. However, once the simplistic directions in this book are mastered, you will have to move up to more thorough and specific books aimed at one particular game.

By trying to cover all casino games, only cursory attention is given to mastering any of them. Therefore, with this book under your arm, you will be able to confidently walk into a casino and know that you are above-average at any table, but an expert at none.

Review: I knew how to play Texas Hold 'em and 7 card stud, but I did not realize how much skill there was in each game. This book is easy reading and teaches you to to be sucessful at the different poker games in a casino. The book more than paid for itself in the winnings I made. Great for beginners or advanced players.

It contains a great deal of information about what to expect when you enter a casino, the games to play and those to avoid, ettiquette etc. In addition to all this casino-based information it also has a wealth of knowledge on the games themseleves (hold-em, 7 card-stud, Hi-Lo variations, omaha and more) and at this price it is an absolute bargain. Perhaps the only area in which the book needs improvement is its information on tells and psychology.
