Rating: Summary: great Review: incredibly funny, the best ever
Rating: Summary: Very funny, in a unique and very smart way Review: It's a real pity this is out of print, because I've hardly ever laughed so hard as when I read this book. Quirky, unique, very smart, very funny. My favorite series is "Harvey Richards, Lawyer for Children"-- a lawyer who uses kids' arbitrary playground rules to provide legal counsel, like how to call off an action figure trade or how to keep an unpopular kid from joining your club. "God-Man" is a close second. I don't think this would appeal to everyone-- a lot of the humor is very intellectual. But for people who like their humor very smart, I find it hard to think of much else that's anywhere near this funny. PS., personally, I think this one is even funnier than the still-available "...Golf-Playing Cats" book, though that's great too. There is an archive of Bolling's cartoons somewhere on the 'net; definitely worth checking out for a taste of his style.
