Summary: Good scale book
Review: Covers all the scales you will need for playing guitar. Graphics are easy to understand and are presented in a format that is easy to memorize. I recommend this book for anyone who has had problems learning or understanding how to use scales and what they are used for.

Summary: Great, easy to understand info at a bargain price!
Review: I found the book to be quite good. It does a pretty good job of explaining modes and how they relate. I've had a lot of guitar books. This is one I would recommend. Some other good books are The Uncle Tim series and The Guitar Guru books. The graphics are very clear and easy to understand. For (the price), you absolutely can't go wrong buying this book.

Summary: Nice book for a beginner
Review: Now the problem I have with this book is that it is supposed to be an easy to use but complete guide for the more aware guitar player. Well it is quite easy to use but it does not by any means introduce you to all of the scales and it gives only one playing shape a scale instead of the five required to cover the entire fretboard. So this one is more of a guide for the beginner really only the first chapter will not be easy to decode for someone starting to study scales.
