Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Tough reading, but worth the work
Review: Art, music, film, language, society, philosophy, car stereos.

If you're interested in any of those things then I highly recommend you read this book. It's a collection of essays, lectures, and various other writings by Achim Wollscheid, German composer/artist/etc. who co-runs the Selektion record label with fellow composer, Ralf Wehowsky (also HIGHLY recommended).

Every piece in the book contains some amazing idea. One of the most interesting, and recurring, is the idea of creating art where the focus is not on it's content but on the context.

The stuff in here is really difficult reading, but if you take the time to *really* read this stuff, you can get a lot out of it (assuming you're interested in this kind of thing).
