Summary: Very Good overview of the science behind music
Review: I bought this book after it was reviewed in "The New Scientist" and I certainly wasn't dissapointed. It's very well organised and even though quite thin, it covers everything in requisite depth. For e.g. he does a great job on explaining the origin of the currently used scales etc.
